About the Author

V.A. Dold is the USA TODAY BESTSELLING AUTHOR of the Award-winning Le Beau Series, League of Guardians, and K.I.S.S series.
Her idea of absolute heaven is a day in the French Quarter with her computer, her coffee mug, and the Brothers, of course. Or a night with a sexy cowboy in the hayloft.
A Midwest native, with her heart lost to Louisiana & Texas. She has a penchant for titillating tales featuring sexy men and strong women. When she's not writing, she's probably taking in a movie, reading, or traveling. Oh, and there is the distinct possibility she is out cowboy hunting.

I read a wide array of books, but prefer paranormal romance. This series is fun and sexy without being vulgar. The language is clean and the story and characters are well thought out. I've read two of the series and plan to complete it.

Simon is the kind of guy that makes female hearts everywhere go pitter patter. Because how do you make a werewolf better? Make him a soldier. That's really the only way. We met Simon in book one of this series. He was that character who made you wonder about him, want to find out more about him, eager to get inside his head and his heart. And once you learn more about him, you cannot help but fall in love. Trapped in his wolf form, Simon needed someone to help heal him. Rose is another one of those great female leads. She is most certainly not perfect, but that's what makes her so great. She is a real woman with real problems…of course she's got a sexy werewolf to help her out with some of those. I don't have a werewolf. Life just isn't fair. V.A. Dold is very good at characters. She is able to bring them to life and make us, the readers, care about them. I love it when an author can do that. While each of these books is a complete story within itself, I would recommend reading Cade before this one, first because it was a good story and second because it will give you a little bit more of the back story. These stories are fun, sweet, and sexy all rolled into one.

I received a free copy from the Author/Publisher in exchange for an honest review.  Simon and Rose are the perfect match.  This book has it all.   I am loving this author and series more and more.  I love the fact that the women so far have been a bit older and curvier (plus size) than they are in most books and the men love them all the more for it. The wonderful storytelling continues as does the world of the shifters in this 2nd installment of the LeBeau brother’s series. I’m always afraid I’ll give something away so no spoilers here.  If you read book one, Cade, then you already know who Simon and Rose are, if not, read Cade ASAP. You won’t regret it.  If you love shifters then you will love the LeBeau brothers.

I enjoyed enough to finish but story did lack at times. Some parts of story were abrupt.

I really wanted to like it. The characters are interesting but it just moved too slowly for me. If you like a slow read then the book is perfect for you

This is the second novel in the Le Beau Brothers series by V. A. Dold and it is absolutely wonderful. I didn’t think that anyone would take the place of Cade in my heart but I had to make room for Simon. Simon returns from four years in the Marines, stationed in the Middle East, he returns to New Orleans and his family damaged. He is unable to maintain human form and unless he is able to be healed his dream will be lost forever. Rose is an orphan, growing up in the foster home program has left her damaged. These two are made for each other, literally. Simon just has to convince Rose that he loves her unconditionally and that she is truly is fated mate. Travis is insane and he has been stalking Rose. Why? Will he be able to take Rose for himself? And who is this organization that has been behind the attempts to destroy the Le Beau family mates? There are great fight scenes between humans and supernatural beings that are so believable. Only surpassed by the love scenes that are so HOT! This is a full length novel with no cliffhangers.

My Thoughts - 4 out of 5 Unicorns - I really liked it!!! The cover is just stunning, and I love it though his hair not so much!! Okay this is actually the 2nd time I have read the book :)  I think I enjoyed it even more the 2nd time around.  The first time I read it as a beta reader, and I felt a little weird reviewing it at the time because I didn’t know if the story would change.  Later I bought it, and this is what I just read. :) V.A. is an amazing story teller, and this series is definitely getting better as it goes.  I think the more you get emotionally invested in the family, the more you connect :) This of course is a shifter book which is one of my favorite genres if you watch my reviews :)  Simon is military with some issues from this time because he is a shifter.  Rose is sort of timid in some ways, but it was awesome to see how she developed throughout the story.  Of course, some of my favorites from the first book were back in this book just not the focus. I wonder if there will be a vampire series in V.A.’s future with Etienne and his crew.  Sorry just me wondering out loud….errr rather in type ;) I definitely recommend this series to anyone who loves the paranormal romance genre, but especially to those who love shifter books.  I can’t wait for more!!
