I have never found a book that touched me so deeply. I have purchased Simple Truths many times and always end up giving it away. I need another copy.

This book came into my life at a time when I wasn't able to see the beauty of the ordinary, and from the moment I started to read it, things started to fall into place and I slowed down and took the time to confirm that life is not the headache that at the time I thought it was. This book is the perfect medicine for those moments of restlessness. It tells you about beautiful life details that we already know about, but about which we need to be reminded when we get caught up running.

This is truly one of my favorite books. I have given as a gift many times. Whenever I encounter a challenge I always pick this up and it helps to put things in perspective. I've owned this book for several years and still keep it beside my bed.

I bought this book for my son upon his graduation from middle school. We read it together - section by section - paragraph by paragraph. I needed to speak to him about some important issues as he enters into what will be some of his most challenging years. Having him read 'The Prophet' is my goal, and I saw 'Simple Truths' as being a wonderful introduction to further exploration of what it means to guide your life on the right track.

Kent 'Simple truths' is excellent. The chapter on 'On Elders' help me better to understand my older husband and what he is going though. I learn something to help me be more understanding.

I was a little disappointed in this book. It had some good points, but I could sum it up in a handful of quotes I've read before.

This book is my Bible. Plain and simple. You won't know what I mean until you read it.
