From the Publisher

Larry Cox, Tucson Citizen/King Features
“Lisa knows a thing or three about the art of entertaining and she shares that knowledge in a splashy, smart new book…Cooking, she claims, should never be a chore since preparing food is a gift you give to people you love. She adds that fixing a cozy and romantic dinner is one of the sexiest things you can do. To help, she includes more than 75 easy-to-prepare recipes. This book is sassy, accessible, and informative. Beautifully illustrated, Simply Divine is as lively as Lisa Vanderpump herself, and presents a multitude of ways to personalize your gatherings with easy, elegant, and cost-smart entertaining. Her recipe for English Sticky Toffee Pudding is almost in itself worth the price of this dandy book.”

The book is a feast for the eyes and the recipes sound wonderful and taste even better. This not only a recipe book, but a collection of stories from the author's life that is peppered with tips on entertaining as well. I love her tidbits on her life and the stories are interesting and fun to read. While she lives a life only most of us dream about, the Lisa Vanderpump writes in a natural, down to earth manner that makes the reader feel at home.

Lisa Vanderpump is my absolute favorite housewife on Hollywood Housewives. I love her elegance, her ¿Brit¿, her sense of fair play and her whole character. She is so classy and so beautiful. The book is a feast for the eyes and the recipes sound wonderful but I haven¿t had a chance to try them yet. I¿m still eating left-overs from Christmas. I love her tid-bits on her life and the stories are interesting, certainly a far cry from most of our lives, but what fun! Any ¿Lisa¿ fan will certainly be in love with this book.

Lisa is a terrific example of elegance. I enjoyed her thoughts on making yourself indispensable to your husband and children. She has a joy filled approach to life. I hope that her next book will be on wardrobe planning and style with photos of her closet, jewelry and classic clothing choices.

Vanity Book non the less and if Lisa wants to dress our tables and grace us with a simple life style then the tips she makes should be the tips she takes to her dinning establishment. So Lisa, please do make sure the fruit fly's don't scatter from the salads you serve at lunch from the Beverly Hills restaurant Villa Blanca. Seems it looks good on the outside and a bit dirty on the inside, in more ways than one. I am sure this book will sink in pink. Irene G.
