I am not a salad eater, (it doesn't fill me up), but my husband is. After reading and making the recipes I am converted. The recipes are easy, from finding the ingredients to preparing the recipe. A few haven't been my taste, but I was able to explore different ingredients that I would not have tried. Recommend highly to those who want to eat healthy and be full. The author is a chef who has done research to make sure that one can find ingredients. This is a keeper and always on my kitchen counter and not on the book shelf.

I am a salad lover and found many different recipes for salads and dressings. I loved it so much I decided to purchase one for a wedding shower gift, along with a nice salad bowl set. The bride-to-be loved it !

I am the mother of two teenage girls and am always looking for healthy meal options. This book is loaded with all kinds of great salad ideas. I think it's great that some of the salads are copies of restaurant favorites. I can make some of my girls' favorites at home now...and save a bundle. Also, all of the homemade dressings are fabulous! We have salad at least twice a week now...and look and feel great!

There are many, many salad recipes all with pictures. The description says that the incredients are simple and this is true, still the recipes are very diverse and delicious. I just receieved this book and have made a salad from it for every day this week.

When I first saw this book advertised, I thought the idea sounded like a great idea for people in a hurry - simple, easy to make, gourmet salads. When I finally saw the book and read a review of it in the Memphis newspaper, I was extremely disappointed. It turns out there is nothing original here. Instead, the author has attempted to recreate salads she has sampled while dining out herself. For example, 'one of Chandler's favorite salads is the Chinese chicken salad with peas, which is based on one she had at P.F. Chang's.' If you are looking for carbon copies of the recipes of other chefs, then this book is the one for you. However, if you, like me, were hoping for some new and fresh ideas, then I'd give this book a pass.
