I have recently been employed as a private cook/chef for a busy professional. I had been requested to prepare vegan-based meals for my employer. In my quest to find the perfect recipes that could accomodate my boss, my extensive research finally led me to this fantastic book. It is exactly what I had been looking for. It contains caloric intake, as well as all the necessary information, that I had been looking for. My employer is absolutely in awe of how delicious these meals have turned out while following his instructions for a healthy meal. Thank you!!!

I am a Vegan and like most people, I do not have a lot of time to cook. Most Vegan cookbooks on the market are geared towards, those who have time to cook, or can track down 20 different hard to find items for a dish and do not mind spending hours in the kitchen--sorry not my style!! Tired of those Yuppie Vegan cook books and want one that has no more then 5 items to make a dish and still taste good? If you said yes, then buy this book! It is the only cook book, I reach for often enough to justify owning it. This book will not gather dust on your book shelf, you will use it and use it often.

"Simply Vegan" has such simple recipes that my friend, who hates cookbooks and doesn't have the patience for recipes, was super engaged by this book. Perfect gift for students. Great for vegans and friends of vegans. Really great book.

Some of these reviews seem highly manufactured as the author themselves or the publishers are writing them. Pay attention to "just re-released" and so on. I would like to see real customers write the reviews. You can tell by the give and take, "I like some, do note like this" for example.
