About the Author

Emma Hart is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of over twenty novels and has been translated into several different languages. She first put fingers to keys at the age of eighteen after her husband told her she read too much and should write her own. Four years later, she's still figuring out what he meant when he said she 'read too much.' She prides herself on writing smart smut that's filled with dry wit, snappy, sarcastic comebacks, but lots of heart... And sex. Sometimes, she kills people. (Disclaimer: In books. I've fallen in love with Emma Hart's writing again! Everyone knows Drake Nash is my favorite Hero from Emma, well watch out Drake, Damien is coming to play and he's SINful and delicious. SIN is SINfully delicious and I'm going to savor it for the rest of the year to come! This may be Emma's best book to date. Well almost, SIN will be a close second, next to the day she released Twisted Bond. Because Drake, Noelle and cupcakes. But SIN is soooo good. It's full of all the things we love that are SINful - hot men, sexy women, books, booze and so much more! The Scarlet Letter is the last thing you think you're going to find in Vegas -- a book bar. And one at the center of attention when it comes to Dahlia and Damien. Damien wants to buy The Scarlet Letter and Dahlia and refuses. When to powerful people collide it's smoke and fire burning WHITE HOT. The sexual tension (and times) set me on FIRE! It made me wish for my own Damien. I mean who doesn't want a Fox in their hen house? Well done Emma. Well done. Now, bring on the Lust. I can't wait to see what happens after SIN... Is LUST what happens next?

Sin by name, sin by nature. This book sure knows how to live up to that saying. It’s sexy, it’s decadent and by god, it’s sinful how much Damien Fox gets away with, with those looks and that body. He thinks every woman will fall at his feet and give him his heart’s desire, or just pleasure him. That is until he meets Dahlia Lloyd. She’s nobody’s doormat and certainly doesn’t fall to her knees for anyone, least of all the man who’s been demanding to buy her bar, even though her knees quake with lust at the mere sight of the man. She’s strong enough to put him in his place and say no. At least at first. Soon though, she’s having dinner, and breakfast with him, she’s laughing and actually starting to like him. Damien has always had his fun, he’s lived his life how he wants and bedded as many woman as takes his fancy. Then along comes Dahlia. And she doesn’t fall prey to his charms, she fights, she could bite if she wanted and he’s intrigued. The chemistry between these two characters is scorching off the pages, the back and forth bantering was sexy and funny and the steaming scenes almost too hot to handle. Dahlia said it herself. ‘He was the ultimate sin.’ She’s in way over her head and losing ground fast. Will Damien be the man for her? Can a fox really be tamed?

Emma Hart brings the scathing witty sexy banter out strong in "Sin" the first book of the Vegas Nights series. First of all a bar where the concept is books is GENIUS. I'd go out clubbing again if there was a bar like that around me! I digress. "Sin" features a dangerously arrogant, relentless and charming hero, Damien Fox who's carrying around dark family secrets. Damien's father's determined they purchase the bar owned by Dahlia Lloyd for some reason. They believes Dahlia will be a pushover since she was devastated by her father's passing. She disappeared for a few months. She recently returned to Las Vegas upon leaning the Foxes have been relentless in their boy-out offers. Her father warned her away from the Fox family while he was alive and she intends to heed his warning. That's until Damien walks into her bar. "Sin" has a gripping storyline since both of the main characters have been touched by tragedy. In Damian's case he's still plagued by guilt and anger much of which is misplaced. The fun of this romance lies in the rapport between the Hero and Heroine. They are snarky, sarcastic, dirty talking, and cutting toward each other. Their initial conversations are carefully crafted verbal swordplay which becomes foreplay. Riling Dahlia up is Damian's favorite hobby. Even though there's no doubt to the couple's romantic destination the friendship they develop as a basis is fabulous. Damien's character growth is fantastic! Emma Hart created an amazing beginning to her new Vegas Nights series. I can't wait for the next installment! I believed in love stories. In the predictable and the obvious. In the unrealistic and the unpredictable. I loved them. I lived them. They were my passion and my escape. Dahlia Lloyd may have known heartache, and she may have experienced loss, but she is none the weaker for it. No, Dahlia is a strong, take no prisoners kind of woman, and more than capable of going head to head with Damien Fox. Damien Fox hides his pain well. Determined, tenacious, self-assured, Damien seldom takes 'No' for an answer, and he doesn't intend to when it comes to Dahlia. Because what Damien wants, Damien gets; it's just a matter of time. Except that he's not counting on the very determined owner of a particular book-themed bar... How excited was I to learn that one of my favorite authors was writing a new series? When it's Emma Hart, the book is SIN, and Dahlia and Damien are on the menu, you can believe that I was over the moon. The fires of enmity burn strong between Dahlia and Damien at first meeting. She has what he wants, and that's The Scarlett Letter, the very special bar left to her by her parents. Dahlia's no wilting flower, and Damien has his work cut out for him, finding out soon enough that she's more than a match for his powers of persuasion. Emma has started off her Vegas Nights series with a bang, bringing heat, heart, and characters that I adored. Dahlia and Damien are well-matched, and it's both entertaining and touching to watch the evolution of their relationship. The quirky supporting characters make for plenty of comic relief and lots of love, and look forward to seeing much more of them all when LUST comes our way. SIN is an easy 4.5 stars for me, and highly recommended for fans of contemporary romance with plenty of heat.

I feel like I always sound like a broken record when I write a new review for an Emma Hart book; always mentioning sassy heroines, delicious heroes, and hilarious banter. But it’s just that she writes these things into her stories so well. She creates extremely likable, relatable characters and immerses readers in fictionalized, yet realistic worlds. SIN is no different. Damien Fox is a handsome, charming businessman. Unfortunately, he’s also arrogant, sly, and cold at times. His determination to buy Dahlia’s bar is just one of the many ways he challenges her. Dahlia Lloyd is just 25 years old, but has managed to keep her well-established bar running smoothly and expertly. She’s an intelligent, confident woman who’s headstrong and unwilling to sell her bar to Fox, who has such differing directions for it. The dual POV helped to give a better understanding on their tough pasts and where they were coming from. The author really dug deep into every emotion and gave this story a lot of heart. Both were such interesting characters that kept the story fresh and exciting throughout its entirety. The secondary characters were just as compelling, which only adds to my anticipation for the next book in this series.

4 Stars! Emma Hart brings us another witty, sexy, story, this time set in Vegas! This story of hate-to-love is filled with biting, snarky, verbal foreplay. Hart's easy-flowing writing moves this story along at the perfect pace. The attraction between Dahlia and Damien is there from the beginning, but their road is not easy. There are secrets and emotions and family secrets standing in their way. The book keeps you on the hook, reading and reading, feeling all the feels as you root for D & D to get their stuff together and move forward. A must-read first in a new series from the talented Emma Hart!

This is Book 1 in the "Vegas Nights" Series. I always love a book written by Emma Hart and this one is no exception. Her writing style is full of banter, sarcasm and humour. In this story I had that but I also enjoyed a good plot with two characters that are strong but at the same time, both have scars from their past. The romance is hot, the sex scenes are great and the way Dahlia and Damien interact is really entertaining. Second characters are also interesting and I couldn't put the book down. I cannot wait for the next book in this great new series!!!

Goodness gracious! Emma Hart… if you write it, I will read it!! I have just fallen for every work you produce! You words… your characters… they are so relatable! They make me laugh. They make me swoon. They make me cringe! I just, I can’t ever find a thing wrong with your books! You keep me coming back for more and more!! Damien and Dahlia drove me crazy as much as I loved them!! The book had some much sexual tension oozing out of the pages, I couldn’t stay cool!! Sin is a PERFECTLY on point name for this book! It’s sexy as sin! Hot as heck! Both these characters were just so easy to love! You have Dahlia with her sassy, witty attitude and the broken, strong alpha. I loved watching them “fight” it and man, did they put up a good fight! One thing that is always throughout her books is the witty and hilarious banter between the main couple and Sin kept up with tradition! These two sure went at each other! Emma Hart has written some of my favorite books! You can’t help but tear through the pages with her humor and all the heat that she packs into the pages. I don’t think I’ve read a book by Hart that I haven’t love. I’ll dare say that this could just be some of her best work, although, I do enjoy her straight up RomComs a TON!! I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I will leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.

Sin by Emma Hart is the first book in her brand new Vegas Nights series. Set in the same Vegas world as her Stripped series with brief cameos from both Mia and West, this is a wonderful sexy, romantic tale of a strong, independently wealthy business woman holding her own in her business and personal life against the misogynistic older men and the oblivious younger one who is worming his way into her life and her heart. Dahlia is tough as nails - mostly. Having just lost her father and taken over ownership of Scarlett's Letter, a bar built for her mother by her father and her sole connection to them both, she is dead set against the offers to buy that the Fox men keep throwing her way. Damien's father is demanding he push Dahlia to sell. He tries, for his father's sake, but realizes early on she isn't the pushover his father believes her to be. Quickly becoming more interested in spending time with Dahlia than trying to buy her bar the two develop a shaky sort of understanding. Until the past comes back to haunt them both. Realizing they have to deal with their demons before they can deal with each other this story takes you on their journey, every emotionally upheaving step of it. Another effing fabulous story from one of my favorite authors - an absolute must-read. Enjoy!

**4.5 Stars** Holy woah! Emma Hart NAILED this story. I seriously couldn't get enough of it! I'm going to say that this has to be one of my favorite Emma books to date. The two main characters, Damien and Dahliah are amazing. Their banter was perfect. Their chemistry was off the charts and honestly? They were hot. I wasn't prepared for Damien Fox. I don't think anyone is going to be, because Emma NAILED his character. The man is sexy. He is so arrogant and smug and knows what he wants. He doesn't let anyone stop him until he gets what he wants either, until he meets Daliah. The one woman he wasn't prepared for and who can rock his world. Oh man, the chemistry between these two! I was sucked in from page 1. They make you want to know their story, they each have their own twisted pasts and you can't put them down. You HAVE to find out what is going on, you HAVE to see what happens between them and you HAVE to watch them fall for each other and finally give in. I seriously couldn't get enough of the banter between these two. Their story was one of the best Emma has written and I didn't want it to end. Damien was this amazing character that I seriously wasn't prepared for. Watching him interact with Dahliah was perfect for their story. They weren't prepared for each other which made it even better. I know there is a book 2 coming in the series and let me just say, I can't wait for it. I didn't want Sin to end, but knowing that Lust is coming soon makes the anticipation even better. It might have even soothed the sadness of knowing Damien and Dahliah's book had come to an end.

I am a woman who doesn't feel strongly about material things such as shoes, purses, and earrings...the list could go on and on. But give me a book, especially one penned by Emma Hart and I am gushing with delight and receiving amused glances from people all around me as I act like a little kid in a candy store. I know that when I start reading a new story by Emma, that I will be transported to a fictional world with the perfect blend of heat, sarcasm, and heart! Emma takes readers back to Vegas to meet two bar owners with troubled pasts, differing views on their businesses, and enough heat to compete with fourth of July fireworks. Damien and Dahlia keep readers twisted up in sweaty sheets and melting with their heated words and sinful moves. Dahlia Lloyd is a twenty-five year old who has endured the loss of not one but two parents and finds herself the owner of a sought after and popular bar The Scarlet Letter with no intention of selling or associating with the “fox” that wants to buy her establishment. That is until she meets him and he fuels her temper and her body at the same time. I adore everything about Dahlia! I love me a strong willed heroine and Dahlia has that in spades! Girlfriend is an intelligent, bookworm with a whole lot of class and sass! Damien Fox is a little harder to get to know but when you get underneath that cold persona that he shows the world, you see a hero that you want to give and receive attention from. He charms the reader and Dahlia with that sexy smirk, gorgeous body, and devilish eyes filled with amusement. Before you know it, your head over heels in love with the fox with no hope of saving yourself from his suave, black suit wearing self. I can't resist a man that exudes confidence, brains, and muscles to die for! Emma Hart delivers a stellar, steamy start to her new series Vegas Nights that hooks readers in from the beginning. What's not to love about all the verbal foreplay, scorching scenes, and a bar filled with books? I highly recommend Sin for a couple that brings the scorching temperatures, humor, and emotion that we have come to know and love from Emma's larger than life characters and amazing story lines. She never fails to lure us in and make us want to pull up a chair and stay and fall in love all over again!

"Emotion was easy to hold on to. It gripped hold of you like an icy winter, clinging until it was forced out by something stronger--something warmer." "He was Heaven and He** and all the sins in between. This kiss wasn't just a sin, and neither was he. It was the sin. He was the ultimate sin." "Fools rushed in. Fools fell in love. Fools kept the scars. I did't want to be a fool. Not for him. Not for anyone." Emma Hart is the queen at delivering sexy, swoon worthy and unforgettable romances. Her characters are relateable and easy to get lost in. They burrow themselves deep inside of you and make it so you can't put their story down. So with each new book, each new character and each new story-line I set the bar high. And with SIN, the bar was set high and blown to smithereens. Emma Hart took my expectations and threw them out the window. Damien Fox was everything that I wanted in a lead male. Sexy. Smart. Addictive. Determined. 100% alpha male. He was utter perfection. He never saw Dahlia Lloyd coming. She was the perfect match. She challenged him with her sassy banter and sexy mind. She had confidence that he's never seen in a woman and he'll be damned if he can't have his way... SIN is all that and then some. It is smartly written, sexy and entertaining as he**. Dahlia and Damien's story hooked me from the very beginning and had me devouring the pages as quickly as humanly possible. I couldn't get enough of these two. Their banter was off the charts and kept me begging for more. The steamy, sexy moments were hotter than hot in a way that only Emma Hart can deliver. And the sass had me laughing my a** off. SIN hit all the marks for me and is one exciting beginning to a sexy new series. I loved every single moment of this story and can not wait to read more!

EMMA FREAKIN' HART! As a longtime fan of the author, I was SO excited to see Sin was coming. Ms. Hart writes fun, insanely sexy books, and SIN is no exception. Humor, wit, scorching sexy times, and an engaging, addictive, story line. That's what you get with SIN. Damien and Dahlia tell this story from both of their POV's. Damien is trying to purchase Dahlia's bar that she inherited from her parents who have passed. The two of them just ooze chemistry and light up the pages when they are together. Dahlia was so incredibly strong and independent for what she has been through in her short life. Damien was hard, and kind of a jerk, but he morphs into such a dreamy book boyfriend. SIN has it all. INCREDIBLE writing, well-paced storyline, and characters you want to go meet at the bar and drink with. This book is the first in a series, and I'm already salivating at the thought of the next book. 5 sexy stars from me, and recommended to the reader looking for a sensual romance, and witty characters.

Sin is book 1 in the Vegas nights series by Emma Hart. In this book we meet Dahlia Lloyd and Damien Fox. This is a enemies to lovers book. Dahlia is just getting back to work after a hiatus because of the passing of her father. The only reason she returned was because Damien was harassing her employees. Damien has a preconceived image of Dahlia owning a bar. We see how his pursuit of trying to buy the bar they start feeling something more than just hate. Damien is walking around with heavy loads on his shoulder. He has a broken heart and broken spirit. Damien has such a way with words and Dahlia is as sassy as they come. Together they are explosive. Can these two find solace with each other? Can they let go of the past to create something wonderful. This is an awesome 5 star read!!!! Emma Hart has yet to disappoint. Can't wait for book 2.

I think this is my favorite book by this author to be honest!!! I loved these characters from beginning to end! Damien and dahlia are sexy, intriguing and hard headed in a good way! They will have you screaming as you turn pages, then fanning yourself as you read their sexy encounters!

It took me a bit of time to get into this one. I really enjoyed the character development and relationship, however I found the main purpose of the storyline a tad bit confusing. Still a fabulous read, but not going down as my absolute favorite of all time. Note, I did receive an advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

This is a short book, but a very intense one. It fully develops the two main characters, and involves you completely in their lives. Even if you despise romance novels, as I do, this one will still grab you and only let go on the last page.
