About the Author

Sinbad and the Isle of the Dead is the author's first book and he really enjoyed creating an exciting adventure story that both adults and children would enjoy. When he was ten his father gave him a pocket sized book with all Sinbad's amazing adventures. He must have read that little book at least a dozen times. Later on he was influenced by the Alexander Korda film, The Thief of Bagdad and of course Ray Harryhausen's films. The author has started work on a Sinbad sequel and has plans for an unrelated comedy book. He is looking forward to making a lot of people laugh out loud. He lives in Kent with his wife, two children and a beautiful tortoiseshell cat called Tia.
