I liked it, but something was missing in the end. It seems as if there was a rush to the finish.

Kinda boring. I did love the 1st book in the series but I had to make myself finish this book & it didn't make me long for book 3.

I read the first book in this series, and I didn't think about that much while reading this book because I didn't really remember that I read it, and the fact that this book seems to take place before the events of the first book; it must have thrown me off, so as I was reading this book I was thinking of what I'd say in this review and what I'd rate it, and as I was rating this book I noticed I gave the first book a 3 rating as well, so I decided to re-read what I wrote about the first book, and I found that I was going to start this review in a very similar fashion! Something along the lines of this just wasn't really for me, and how I didn't really gel with the main female lead. I guess this series just isn't for me. I didn't really like Jillian, and as I read I like to root for and want to stand up for the main character, and I just couldn't with Jillian. She came off as somewhat bratty to me, and I felt like she needed to mature a lot. Within the first few pages I already didn't like much about her, the fact that her idea of looking her best is to look like a high priced escort, that she plays jealousy games, and that she wants one man, but is willing to sleep with some other random guy she meets just that night. I'm all for women being their women, but I don't like skeezy-ness, and I got that from Jillian. I did like her artistic nature, and I wish there was a bit more of that, so she could've seemed more personable. I guess I liked Leo okay, and I'm alright with some kink in sex, so that wasn't really too much of a problem. Most of the sex scenes were pretty good, and they were of a BDSM nature. I really didn't like the scene with Brandon, and I really think that dropped it down a rating for me. I liked the scenes with Leo and Jillian outside of the sexual relationship, and I really loved the ending. Leo and Jillian can be really sweet with each other, and Jillian was slightly growing on me. Leo having to deal with some emotional turmoil was well written. I also really liked that this book is in dual perspectives. I don't think I'll read the next book in the series because I just don't like the female leads, and there's usually some type of sexual scenes that I don't like, and that can ruin a whole book for me. Also, Brandon's story is probably either next, or soon enough, and I am really not liking books that have the characters involved in BDSM clubs, so there's another negative for me. I do love the covers of these books though! It's a good read, and like I said I really enjoyed the ending. I think a lot of readers could enjoy this, you just have to not mind the things I listed. Also, you can read this as a standalone, this is a complete story, and I love that.

Hot, hot, hot! Leo and Jillian are the classic best friend's little sister couple, but with a BDSM twist. Just like in the first book of the series, the hero is a dominant, but I like that in this series it doesn't involve scenes or the usual props. Jillian was not aware of this side of Leo, but once she discovers it and he agrees to teach her the ropes, she realizes that she loves it. Along with the really hot sex, they also have a strong emotional connection. Leo does have to fight some personal demons along the way to their HEA, which adds some tension to story. 4.5 stars I received an ARC via NetGalley for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review, all conclusions are my own.

Sinful is book #2 in Jennifer Dawson's Undone series and lives up to its name! This book is smoking hot and not for the tame of heart. If you can read with an open mind then you will actually enjoy the love story that is beneath the world of BDSM that this book is based around. Jillian Banks has been lusting over Leo Santoro, her brother’s best friend, forever and she has decided it is time for them to make a move or move on. The perfect time for this ultimatum show down is her brother Michael's party. Dressed to kill, Jillian gives it everything she's got and when she decides maybe a little jealousy might sweeten the pot things get hot really quick! Leo has it bad for Jillian and that is why he has made a vow to never following their attraction. Leo is not your normal guy, he has a secret lifestyle and if Jillian found out she would run. Leo is heavily involved in the BDSM world and he feels that is something he could never bring Jillian into. When Jillian decides to move on to another guy, one that also happens to live the same lifestyle as him, Leo quickly decides to stop fighting temptation and see where this attraction will take them. As I stated earlier, this book will not be for everyone due to the BDSM nature. While this is the world this book is set around, the author does an excellent job of capturing the love story between these two as well. Readers will learn what makes Leo choose this type of lifestyle and gives you a better understanding in general to a world most of us will never venture into. I received an eARC of this book from the publisher for my honest review and opinion. All ratings and opinions stated are my own.

Sinful is the second book of a series, but can be read first without spoiling Crave. I have only read one other book by Jennifer Dawson but since I LOVED that one I went in knowing just how great of an author she is! I fell hard for the characters and the way that they just pull you right in and make you hang on to everything going on and to anticipate the next thing to happen. The push and pull between Jillian and Leo was just wonderful! I am going to be going back to read book one, but I am certainly looking forward to any future books that involve these characters, because like I said, they are just so awesome!! *I received a complimentary copy of the book in exchange for a fair and honest review.*

If your life-long crush had a secret life would you still follow him?? Such is the dilemma for Jillian Banks. She's always crushed on/lusted after/loved her brother's best friend, Leo Santoro, but she's giving him just one more chance to take her on or she's walking away. Leo craves Jillian, but knows that she's just an innocent when it comes to his depraved needs and he won't taint her, nor can he change to be the man she perceives him to be. Get ready to dive head first into a whirlwind of lust and hotness that is 'Sinful'. I feel like I took each step with Jillian as she navigated the dark waters of this new relationship with Leo. I'm not a huge fan of BDSM novels, but this story is different and really focused IMO on the story of Leo and Jillian; how Jillian had to come to terms with the picture of her dream crush versus the reality of the man and also how Leo had to understand that what he perceives as his dark needs can change/evolve when faced with love. These characters are not shallow and Jennifer Dawson has written backstories into Leo and Jillian that give depth to their actions and decisions and that really add to their tale. Super deep story with super deep sex come together in a novel that will leave you with a huge book hangover!! Loved this one and totally recommend it to fans and newbies to this genre.

Sexy, memorable, and definitely sinful! After lusting after her brother's best friend Leo for years, Jillian lays down an ultimatum! It's now or never, BUT, be careful what you wish for! Leo has lots of layers but to get to those you have to be able to handle his control and dominance. Is Jillian ready and able to play in his dominant sexy world?? You definitely want to find out. I recommend this one.

My rating: 3.5 of 5 stars Jennifer Dawson has once again created characters that are unforgettably real. Leo and Jillian are their own worst enemies. The choices each makes leads down a toxic road of secrets, domination and mixed emotions. I received an ARC of Sinful in exchange for an honest review. I think Jillian was more in love with the idea and her fantasy of what being with Leo would be like more than the reality of what it all entailed. Leo has his own demons. His emotions can lead him to some very dark places. Sinful is full of misery, guilt and longing but it also will get a reaction from its readers. The turbulence and sultry vibe live up to it's title.
