About the Author

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Katy Regnery started her writing career by enrolling in a short story class in January 2012. One year later, she signed her first contract, and Katy's first novel was published in September 2013.

Forty books later, Katy claims authorship of the multititled New York Times and USA Today bestselling Blueberry Lane Series, which follows the English, Winslow, Rousseau, Story, and Ambler families of Philadelphia; the six-book, bestselling ~a modern fairytale~ series; and several other stand-alone novels and novellas, including the critically acclaimed, 2018 RITA© nominated, USA Today bestselling contemporary romance, Unloved, a love story.

Katy's first modern fairytale romance, The Vixen and the Vet, was nominated for a RITA® in 2015 and won the 2015 Kindle Book Award for romance. Katy's boxed set, The English Brothers Boxed Set, Books #1–4, hit the USA Today bestseller list in 2015, and her Christmas story, Marrying Mr. English, appeared on the list a week later. In May 2016, Katy's Blueberry Lane collection, The Winslow Brothers Boxed Set, Books #1–4, became a New York Times e-book bestseller.

Katy's books are available in English, French, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, and Turkish. Her books soon will be available in German and Hebrew.

Katy lives in the relative wilds of northern Fairfield County, Connecticut, where her writing room looks out at the woods, and her husband, two children, two dogs, and one Blue Tonkinese cat create just enough cheerful chaos to remind her that the very best love stories begin at home.

Katy Regnery always delivers a wonderfully written story that has emotion and heart with a realness to her characters that draws you right into their lives. I loved the unique circumstances that surrounded these characters and appreciated that they really had to fight to get to the happy ever after. Luke’s role as a single father is something he takes seriously, and my heart continually went out to him as he tries to find a new normal for his family after the sudden passing of his wife. And although things start off with a no-strings agreement, once that changes you could really feel the struggle he had as he tried to balance a new relationship with Amanda with his current family and life. I loved that neither Amanda or Luke was willing to give up the things they knew were important to them to make things work – watching them struggle to figure things out added such an emotional realness to the story. I also loved the way the relationship between Luke, Amanda, and Luke’s children was built into the story. The concern at first about introducing someone temporary into the children’s lives and then how to find a place for Amanda was very well done. And I can't say enough about how the struggle Chad, Luke’s son, had with dealing with his feelings about losing his mom and not wanting her to be replaced were handled - the dialogue surrounding this and so many other of these issues that was built into the story was just wonderful. Another great read from Katie Regnery and a great start to a new series that looks to have some unique settings and circumstances. It’s hard to go wrong when you pick up a Katy Regnery book! I received an advance reader copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

Single in Sitka will win your heart! A single dad romance, that will make you double-check your rearview mirror the next time you're pulled over. A great start to a new series, and I can't wait to see where the author takes us in the next book. Highly entertaining with plenty of steamy romance as well!

Wow! What an incredible story! Amanda and Luke are living in two different worlds. She's a reporter in Seattle, while Luke is a state trooper in the small town of Sitka. Since losing his wife Luke has not been interested in dating and Amanda is still getting over a breakup. As a personal ad peaked her interest, she went ahead and decided to answer it just to have some fun while she is doing a story up in Sitka. Interestingly, Luke isn't aware of this personal ad as his sister has decided its time he moved on. After some resistance he gives in and agrees to meet someone. While they have great chemistry, there is some miscommunication and just before her two weeks in Sitka is up and their fun is over, an emergency comes along and she goes rushing back. There is so much going on in this story, it is suspenseful, sad, loving and so many other emotions! I loved this book! I was glued to this book from start to finish I don't want to give anything away, but this book was amazing! I can't wait for more from the Odds-Are-Good series!

Considering the amazing lineup of excellent books that Regnery has penned, Single In Sitka is one of my favorite series books of Katy's to date. This book contains it all; sizzling heat between a sexy, single dad and a work-driven journalist. Heart pounding, emotional moments ranging from tears to anxiety to deep swooning. Along with fabulous secondary characters that enrich the story. Single in Sitka is a book you don't want to miss in 2019! Amanda finds an ad in the Odds Are Good online dating magazine describing Luke; a single guy in Alaska looking for love. She's never been to Alaska, but she is picturing a hunky man who can fulfill her nightly fantasies better than her cheating ex ever could. When she's pressed to fulfill a deadline for where she works, her writing partner throws out the idea of saving the bears in Alaska thus giving her the opportunity to find her hunky soulmate. Unable to turn down a writing assignment...Amanda suddenly finds herself in Alaska with the ability to look up Luke; Mr. Single and hopefully hunky, dreamy Luke. When in Alaska and all that. Luckily Luke is actually who he says he is, BUT he didn't place the ad, his sister did. Nothing like a bit of awkward to start things off. You see, the reason Luke is single, his wife passed away two years ago and his sister feels it's time to get back on the proverbial horse. She's worried about him. While she takes his kids for the weekend, he meets Amanda and they do hit it off, but decide on a no-strings, just fun agreement. Perfect. She's only in town for two weeks as it is. Things are great until they both get attached and two weeks aren't nearly enough. What do you do when the person you're falling for lives 800 miles away? How do people make these long distance relationships work? Should they just chalk it up as a fling and move on? There are so many variables and moving parts when it comes to falling in love as a single father. Luke as an AH HA moment when he realized that when he fell in love with his wife it was just the two of them and he could devote all of his attention to just her. Now, even if he wanted to spend every waking hour with Amanda he couldn't. He had responsibilities, not that he would trade them for the world, he loved his kids, but this time around it was just different which meant he had to do things differently. I love these kind of intricate details that seem so minute, but add so much flavor Single in Sitka is such a great story and even though it is a complete standalone I can't wait to return to Alaska and see what Katy has in store for us next.

She's out of her element. He's not even trying to play the game. What do you get when a city slicker locks horns with romance in the wild outdoors? A heartbreaker with breathtaking consequences. Count on Regnery to dream up a tale that brings the best parts of romance. Single in Sitka will make you laugh, cry and hope. Amanda and Luke are an adventure that every heart needs to experience.
