What People are Saying About This

From the Publisher

“The book is essential reading for anyone who wishes to understand not just Sino-Russian relations, but also the trichotomous relationship between China, Russia, and the United States in an increasingly polycentric world.” (Jayant Prasad, Director General, Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses, New Delhi)

“Chapters on such topics as military ties, Eurasian relations, the Arctic, and the triangle with the United States are timely and among the best coverage on these subjects now available. Analysis of shifts in Russian thinking is especially noteworthy. Given the significance of the subject, this book merits attention by those who debate foreign policy and by many who are studying international relations.” (Gilbert Rozman, Emeritus Professor, Princeton University, USA, and editor-in-chief, The Asan Forum)

“The Russia-China relationship has undergone remarkable changes in the last few years—it has become both broader and deeper. This edited collection is a useful contribution to further our understanding of their bilateral relations and the US-China-Russia triangle.” (Richard Weitz, Senior Fellow and Director of the Center for Political-Military Analysis, Hudson Institute, USA)
