"Sleek, dark and utterly seductive!"—New York Times bestselling author Lara Adrian

Alastor Krayl's world shattered when he learned that his father was the Underworld god of chaos and evil. All that saved him from self-destruction were his newfound brothers and the bond they shared as soul reapers. So when one of his brothers is murdered, vengeance becomes Alastor's obsession. And the enigmatic Naphré Kurata, a witness—or is she the killer?—has the answers he seeks.

A reluctant Underworld enforcer, Naphré trusts no one, especially not a seductive soul reaper who makes her burn with lust. Torn between duty and desire, she fights to keep her secrets safe from Alastor, even as she longs to surrender.

Underworld enforcer and soul reaper Alastor Krayl seeks the Butcher; the assassin who he believes was involved in the death of his brother Lokan. When he finds the Butcher, Alastor is stunned as the killer is dead. Apparently a shocked Naphre Kurata, the Butcher's apprentice, killed him when he tried to murder her. Naphre buries her former mentor, but Alastor claims his soul as he needs it to free his sibling's soul. However, Alastor is taken aback when he learns the soul of his late enemy belongs to someone else. As Alastor and Naphre find themselves falling in love, a definitely forbidden feeling for both of these non-humans, neither know what to do next about their desires, his brother or the third party soul collector. The latest dark Otherkin soul reaping romantic fantasy is a great entry in what looks like will be a top series (see Sins of the Heart). The story line is extremely complex with a great late spin, but also incredibly entertaining. Fans will be hooked from the onset as Krayl walks the Territory of Sutehl with revenge as his companion only to be stunned by what he sees. The escapades have just begun for him, her and their hearts. Eve Silver strikes gold with this terrific Underworld thriller. Harriet Klausner

This is such a fun, mysterious, and engaging series. Each book is about one of the brothers and they are trying to find out who killed brother number 4, Lokan, to seek vengeance, and possibly bring him back. This book was centered around Alaster. We still get to see glimpses of Dagan and Roxy, who were the leads of the last book, which was great since I completely loved them!Alaster was a great character. He was flawed and insecure in some ways, but also strong and completely yummy! He missed and mourned the family he had before he realized who he was, but he also let it make him stronger. Naphre was a great female lead. She's a Topworld assassin, an assassin on earth, carrying out the jobs for the demons. Don't worry though, Nephre has her own set of moral codes, she only kills killers. Naphre won't accept jobs that don't fit into the bad guy code. She's strong and funny, and a smart-ass, which I love! This series is great because it's so original in it's paranormal element. I love all the twists and turns that the politics of the underworld takes. The mystery keeps me guessing, every time I think I have it figured out, another twist gets thrown in and I'm trying to figure it out all over again. Overall, this book was just a great as the first and I can't wait to see what happens next!

Sins of the Soul The second book In Eve Silvers Otherkin trilogy Picks up right where Sins of the Heart plot line left off Alastor and his brothers are trying to find out who murdered there brother Lokan and reunite his soul with his body. I didn¿t get into this book as much as I got into the first book it was a bit slow moving for me but I did enjoy following along with Alastor and Nephr as characters. I also liked that we got to see a little bit about the romantic characters of book one Dagan and Roxy I always wonder what happens to characters from one book with series that take the point of view with different characters in each book and I liked how they were tied into book two.I rate this book a 3.5/5

Otherkin Book Two The hunt for Lokan Krayal's murderers is still on and Alastor is determined to get the information he needs no matter what. When his questions lead him to an assassin, Butcher, he finds Naphré Kurata burying the body. Alastor knows she must have information he needs, so he follows her. Naphré is a former Daughter of Aset, but she never took the final step to become a pranic feeder before turning to other Underworld duties. If you were intrigued by the rich world-building and mixture of mythologies in Sins of the Heart, this is the next step on your journey. *I received this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

I received this book for free from the author for an honest review. This is the second book of the series with the next brother in line and a new heroine. Naphré Kurata is a enforcer for the underworld. Alastor Krayl is looking for more answers on what happened to his brother using the information his brother found in the first book. He tracks down Naphré Kurata with hoping she will be the key to finding out who killed his brother. The two characters are put together by other forces. We find out more about the two characters then what really happened to Alastor's brother. I can't wait to read the next one in the series to see how the next brother continues the quest.

The second in the series was gone in a day and a half!!

It felt as if I was waiting for the other shoe to drop...the ending didn't quite seem to "end;" I was waiting for something else to happen, and nothing did. Still was a decent enough read, however.
