Sir Henry at Rawlinson End is a masterpiece of a tradition that started with &quot The Big Shot&quot on the very first Bonzo Gog Band LP, &quot Gorilla&quot . The character actually came from the same album, mentioned in &quot The Intro and The Outro&quot and further amplified thrugh the 9 minute &quot Rawlinson End&quot on the last Bonzo LP &quot Let's MAke Up and Be Friendly&quot . Sir Henry is a great character...there is no plot, per se, but Stanshall really knew how to carry you along through 40 minutes of madness. One of the great characters and albums of our time. By the way, the incidental music on the album is credited in part to Steve Winwood, with whom Stanshall collaborated when Winwood was both in Traffic and as a solo artist. A great talent, sadly gone now because of a freak house fire in 1995.
