4 Star Review Siren Enslaved (Texas Sirens #3) by Sophie Oak We were introduced to Julian Lodge in the previous books and I was certainly intrigued with him from the start. This is his, Fin Taylor and Danielle Bay’s story. What a tangled web we weave when we cannot admit to our friends the truth. Fin has worked himself into a corner by not admitting to the woman he loves that he is in fact bisexual, rather than gay as Dani believes. Dani has decided to marry a man she really doesn’t want to all because she believes Fin is gay. When she decides to flee the wedding before the ceremony, she jumps into a car being driven by Julian who is on his way to visit Jack, Sam and Abby. Interestingly enough Julian doesn’t want to commit to a relationship due to his past and yet he finds himself drawn to Fin and Dani. This is a M/M/F story so be prepared. Although Siren Enslaved is not a particularly long read, I found myself reading well into the night; a story of acceptance, passion, strength and determination. There was romance and suspense woven into the story and the scenes were smoking hot. I really enjoy Ms.Oak (Lexi Blake’s) style of writing and Siren Enslaved was one of those reads I could not put down.

I was so engrossed from the first chapter that I was reluctant to put the book down until I reached then. If you love suspenseful drama, 3 person romance mixed with some laughter and heart ache the Texas Sirens series should be a must read.

I will admit it, time has mellowed me to Julian Lodge. He wasn't somebody I liked at first glance, but going back and spending some time with him makes me appreciate him in a different way. Out of this trio, Finn is my absolute favourite. He has always seemed the most human, the most relatable, and the glue that holds everything together Now, from the book, it would seem that is Dani, but to me, Dani is too sweet, Julian is too rigid, and Finn is the one, in the end, that pulls them back together. He is the odd one out at the start, but he is the most understanding once he figures out his place Loved the updated version as much as the original. The heartache theme runs deep, with both Alex and Ian sharing some of their pain. Leo is still called out for his crap, and Jack, Abby, and Sam are still completely and utterly perfect!

After reading snippets about Julian Lodge over the various Masters and Mercenaries books, I was intrigued by this story. Love Dani. She totally put Julian on his butt with her wedding escape. Finn was a perfect the best friend who has always loved her. Julian is strong yet does not trust love to happen for him. Finn and Dani together thaw Julian's heart. Would love to know what becomes of Val and Jimbo

I love the twists and turns that set her characters apart from other romance writers. There’s genius behind her plots, it’s fantastic! Plus she writes fast so I can keep up with all her stories. I hate to wait on future releases (just call me Val ?).

4.5 stars for - Siren Enslaved - book three in the Texas Sirens series by Lexi Blake / Sophie Oak. This can be read as a complete stand-alone but characters from the previous books make many appearances in this one therefore I highly suggest reading them prior to this one. This book is also a MMF ménage romance with some very steamy man on man love therefore consider yourself warned if that’s not your cup of tea. Danielle Bay is about to marry a man she doesn’t really love. Just when it’s time to walk down the aisle to say her vows she gets spooked and takes off running out of the church and down the street where she hops into a stranger’s car. Turns out the man who rescued her is good friends with her boss and brings her back to their ranch where she discovers many new things about herself at the helpful hands of this stranger. Finn Taylor has been in love with Danni forever but let her assume he was 100% gay. Thinking either she wouldn’t be enough for him or she wouldn’t be comfortable with him needing more than just her sexually he decided to keep his bisexuality to himself up until the night before she was to be married. When Finn laid it all out in the line for her and told him how she really felt about her all the years he has known her the last thing he thought she would do was bail on him and her wedding in one fell swoop. Julian Lodge is a bit of an urban legend as he is the only man that could instill fear in Ian Taggart. Being an obscenely rich man has become overrated to him as there is literally nothing he hasn’t experienced so when a runaway bride jumps into his car while stopped at a light in the middle of nowhere he is left speechless and a bit charmed by a woman that stirs his more “primal instincts”. Once Julian finds out who she is and what she’s running from it’s even more enticing than he originally thought. This was a bit of an angst filled, roller coaster ride of debauchery that only Julian can lead two unsuspecting subs on. Absolutely loved it though as it gave an intimate glance into the mind of one of LB’s most complex/feared Dom.
