Since its inception, Sister Space which is dedicated to the goals, accomplishments, concerns and voices of women, has provided an avenue for women from all over the country to give voice to the issues that affect them and their communities. This space is designed for women regardless of background, religion, education level, class creed or color. Sister Space has shared the achievements, the businesses, and thoughts and minds of talented women. The words and works of these sisters have allowed for self definition and beat back the lie they aren't thin enough, pretty enough, or smart enough. We are pleased to present some of your expressions and thoughts about articles featured in this section and their value.Coffee makes you Black is a compilation of my Final Call articles. It addresses various issues regarding women, religion, work, and balancing it all. It deals with the race question within and outside of the Black community. Brings it to the forefront of peoples minds, and discusses it openly, without apologies.
