Editorial Reviews

Publishers Weekly - Publisher's Weekly
The author of The Men in Our Lives examines the emotional, psychological dynamics between Sisters. (Aug.)
Library Journal
Fishel here explores the bonds between sisters, both by blood and the symbolic sisterhood of all women. She reveals the relationship with her own sister as well as those of many other sisters. Though LJ's reviewer found it less satisfying than Nancy Friday's My Mother/My Self, Sisters is still "a heartfelt attempt" (LJ 6/15/79). Conari is also releasing a paperback edition of Fishel's 1991 volume, I Swore I'd Never Do That (ISBN 0-943233-69-0).
