About the Author

Sarah Hussain was born in England in 1985. As well as being a proud mother and wife, she also completed a BA Honours Arts of Literature in 2008 and began writing short stories and poetry soon after. Her first novel, Escaped from Syria, was a finalist in the People's Book Prize Award. She is a passionate teacher and currently completing her Creative Writing Masters; she aims to use her writing to educate and promote tolerance.
