This is not a cliffhanger. Roxanne St. Claire wrote a story with a twist. I enjoyed Garret and Jessica's romance. I wept when Lola found her Number 1.... I recommend this story to adult readers.

I am old enough to remember Shirley Temple movies and how the endings always elicited a bucket of happy tears. Sit...Stay...Beg is the modern day, adult, sensual version for me. I am now fully invested in this wonderfully loving family! Thank you, Roxanne St. Claire, for combining my favorite animals and scrumptious humans in a great series!!!

This book is the first book in The Dogfather series, it's setting is in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Bitter Bark, NC and is the story of Garrett and Jessie. The characters and interconnecting characters in this book are awesome, it's well written, the plot so life-like, contains a little family drama, emotional, dogs and a HEA. What a Great Start To A Great Series! Roxanne St. Claire never disappoints!

This story is full of life, emotions from fear, lack of selfworth, to walls coming down, freedom from the chalns of pain to the glow of love. A fine story.
