This series is awesome but at 2.99 a peice for 90 pages is not right. I will buy the rest if they go into a bundle but i cant afford 3$ for under 30 min of reading.

I was gifted a copy for an honest review.  Lili St. Germain is slowly killing me with these books! I’m dying to know what else she has planned for Sammi (aka Julz) and the sexy Jase. I’m also wondering if Sammi will be able to survive long enough to extract her revenge. After killing Dornan’s oldest son Chad, Sammi can’t wait to cross off another name on her list. She has her next target market, now it’s just finding the perfect time to do the job. However now that Chad is gone, Dornan is crazier than ever and this time Sammi is really hurt. Of course Jase comes to help her out and begs her to run, but Sammi refuses, she’s in this until the end.  The question is, will Jase be there the next Dornan does damage to Sammi?  Sammi's able to cross off another name on the list, but is she going to be lucky enough to cross off another? Lili St. Germain does a great job of sucking you into the story and connecting you to the characters. Buy the end you’re screaming at your Kindle (or Nook) NOOOOOOO THIS CAN’T BE THE END!! I looking forward to see what happens next in Five Miles!

Juliette continues her plan for revenge against the men who killed her father and took her innocence. But its getting harder to keep her lies straight. Its even more difficult keeping her emotions in check especially when it comes to the youngest son Jase. Juliette’s first love, he’s starting to get suspicious of “Sammi’s” intention. Can she trust him? Will he ever forgive her? These thoughts plague her as she continues to kill off the sons of her worst nightmare one by one. Book two in the series has me on the edge of my seat.  I am in constant fear that Sammi/Juliette will be caught.  I want her with Jase but I feel bad for Elliot, my emotions are all over the place and I can’t put this series down. Lili St. Germain is a terrific writer the darkness of this series is written in a very tasteful way. The subject matter of rape and abuse is a tough one to write and to get people to want to read. She does a fine job of it letting us live the experience of rage and revenge through her characters.  Digging into the next books immediately as I put down the previous one.

With Juliette/Sammi’s revenge plan officially in motion, the intensity of this story jumps up several notches. While Sammi bathes in her success, Dornan’s fire has been lit. To be honest, I’m a little bit terrified (in a totally addictive way) of the things Lili St. Germain has running around her mind. This novella is dark, twisted and absolutely enthralling. Every horrific moment of this story held me captive and kept me turning pages until it was over and I was desperate for the next book.  The characters really evolved in this novella and began to define their relationships. Dornan continues to surprise me with his depraved behavior and his caveman attitude. Just when I think he can’t get any worse, he proves me wrong.  Jase and Sammi’s relationship also starts to change, as the inevitable connection between them starts to surface. So many emotions run rampant throughout this story and Lili expertly ensures we feel every single one of them.  This novella lets us in on Sammi’s past a little more explains Elliot’s role in her life better. We also get to see a lot more of Jase and Sammi alone. Their chemistry is obvious despite their attempts to stay clear of one another. I can see the bits and pieces of light and happiness that shine through when she is with Jase and it gives me hope amongst the blood, violence and revenge. Once again Lili ends this installment with an unexpected twist, with Sammi’s life and her anonymity hanging by a thread.

"Sammie" has just killed the first son, continues to "be" Dornan's mistress, continues her path to vengeance. Sammie has finally started her plan and there is no turning back now. This novella is almost "worse" than the first one. There is more violence, betrayal, drugs, and manipulation. Sammie is hell-bent on her revenge and is stopping at nothing to get it. It captivates me on her story and her will to do anything to avenge her father. I don't want to say this but it is like a train wreck...you want to turn your head but you cannot look away. Now not saying this story is bad but holy hell the lengths Sammie will go to to get what she wants. No matter how awful it gets for her. I will continue to read the series because I want to know what she is willing to do for her father, and I want to see that she makes it out alive! So if you do not have a weak stomach I say go for it because you will not be disappointed...although you may question Sammie's mental stability from time to time....but hey who doesn't question their own sanity.
