This is a book for more of the older teenagers i really didnt expect the stuff it had in it. I didnt even get through the first story cause when i was reading it to my mom therebwere some inapropreate words.
I enjoyed Scary Tales Volume 1 so much I can't wait to read Scary Stories volume 2. These six dark tales delve deep into the human psyche and explore how we behave when these fears take control. I don't usually pick favorites. They were all very good, but the last story, "Burning," struck a chord with me. It was a riveting tale, seen through the eyes of a child, of how hate and prejudice can inflict terror and horror on others. I went back and read it again. This short story collection was a great read.
Fun dark entertaining stories. Loved the authors vivid descriptions. Slightly saddend when I finished the last one thinking there woul be more. This was the first book of hers I have read, but plan to read many more.
