Her writing on health, fitness, and nutrition has appeared in popular publications including Self, Fitness, Glamour, and Seventeen. She holds a B.S. in journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism and resides in Brooklyn, New York.

Liz Neporent is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine, the American Council on Exercise, the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. She is coauthor of Buns of Steel Total Body Workout, Fitness for Dummies, and Weight Training for Dummies and is author of Fitness Walking for Dummies.
