I like his writing style. I love his characters. Loved the character Samuel Todd - his quick wit and sharp mind and his love of alcohol!! I felt as if I actually knew these people. This is the second Sanders book I have read and I will definitely read more of his books in the future. I'm only sorry that the literary world has lost such a great writer.

The writing was good, but I didn't like the main character and to me the story line was just OK. I won't be reading the rest of the series.
