About the Author

Lynn Reynolds is a city girl trapped in Green Acres. She’s a writer, wife and mom—although not necessarily in that order. She writes contemporary romantic suspense and mysteries with a chick lit vibe, a genre she likes to call “chick noir.” She’s also been known to write the occasional steamy romance. RT Book Reviews called her Amazon women’s fiction bestseller Thirty-Nine Again “a first-class mystery…and a first-class read.” Lynn’s secret ambition is to be a wench at The Renaissance Faire.

Ann Whitaker lives in the heart of Texas with her journalist husband and their adopted poochon, Jackson. She's been writing in one form or another all her life. A reformed high school and college English teacher, she's published poetry, non-fiction, and short fiction in newspapers, literary journals, and magazines. Her fictional characters are often larger than life and sometimes find themselves in absurd situations. Songwriter David Allan Coe says the perfect country and western song has to have certain elements: Mama, trains, trucks, prison, and gettin' drunk. Ann's stories always have a dog. Her first novel, Dog Nanny, was a finalist in the 2008 Linda Howard Award of Excellence contest and dubbed a “near perfect book” by Coffee Time Romance & More. Ann’s latest novel, Deadline to Desire, is due out this fall. When not writing, Ann reads, sings, and plays the guitar.

Cara Marsi, an award-winning author and self-proclaimed TV junkie, is a former corporate drone and cubicle dweller. Freed from her fabric-covered cage, she can now indulge her love of all things romance. She craves books with happy endings and loves to write about independent heroines and the strong heroes who love them. And she loves to put her characters in dangerous situations or situations merely dangerous to their hearts and watch them fight for the happy endings they deserve. An eclectic author, Cara is published in romantic suspense, paranormal romance, and contemporary romance. She’s also published numerous short romance stories in national women’s magazines and online.
