Meet the Author

Debra Johnston Glass holds an MAed with emphasis in history from the University of North Alabama. A Florence, Alabama native, she has authored several books on southern ghosts, including Skeletons In The Closet - MORE True Ghost Stories of the Shoals Area, Skeletons On Campus - True Ghost Stories of Alabama Colleges and Universities, and Skeletons of the Civil War - True Ghost Stories of the Army of Tennessee. She had also penned several articles for Fate Magazine as well as historical articles for various Civil War Magazines. During regional festivals, she conducts the Haunted History of the Shoals and the Civil War History of Florence Walking Tours in her hometown.

I absolutely love this book. The whole collection by her is excellent in my opionion. As I am from this area of Alabama,I know most of these places by heart and I can tell you honestly. This is one ghost book that tells true encounters and experiences. I speak from having a few encounters myself. A must have!
