Being somewhat like the author of this book i too have struggled with my own hate towards groups of and individual people. Reading the authors life and realising what his hate did to him made me seriously re think my outlook.

I had to read this book for an elective class I am taking this semester, but I think if someone else outside of class would have recommended it to me I would have read it in that instance also. Anyway, this book is great! T.J. does a magnificent job of showing how quickly we can get wrapped up in hate and anger and that the message is the same across racial hate groups they just insert their names and the groups they hate. I would recommend this book to anyone who believes in tolerance and who wants to broaden their horizons.

Skinhead Confessions is a fascinating book to read. It is discriptive and steadily holds your interest as it leads you into the Skinhead world of racism and violence and helps you understand the efforts of one man to turn his life around. I began reading this book and couldn't put it down until it was finished. I recommend this book to anyone who has an interest in the social deviates of today's society and how to survive their hatred as well as anyone who reads for entertainment.
