Navy SEAL Wyatt Henderson had signed up for a guys-only week of fishing and hiking and beer at his buddy's favourite camp in the Berkshires. Nobody said anything about campfire songs and kitchen duty and crafts at noon. Retro Throwback Week at Camp Firefly Falls is almost enough to drive him around the bend, and that's before the beautiful hippie in the girls' cabin next door decides he's no fun.
Tegan Bennett can't stand the insufferable, grumpy, gorgeous military man who wakes up every morning at dawn and takes up far too much space in her general vicinity. So when he throws down a dare, she takes it—and lobs him one of his own. It's on like Donkey Kong. Camp rules? Out the window. Along with her bikini top.
Is one week at summer camp enough to turn his frown upside down and tame her wild spirit? A lighthearted, sexy, opposites attract romp complete with a midnight dining hall ice cream raid.

Tegan is floundering in life. She's just lost her job and doesn't know what her next move should be. Wyatt's serving on a SEAL team. He has his life figured out. No time for serious relationships. These two very opposite people meet at a summer camp reunion and Tegan does her best to needle him to get a reaction. She dares and he counter dares as the first days go by, but they find an attraction growing that they hadn't expected. Being Navy it's almost expected that Wyatt's language would lean toward profane, but having f*cks coming from Tegan seemed unnecessary. Not every adult uses such immature language. It dragged a bit some places, but overall was okay.
This series is so much fun! It brings back memories of summer camp when I was younger. I love the idea of grown-up camp! Wyatt Henderson is looking forward to an all guys weekend before he heads out on his next assignment as a SEAL. Nothing sounds better than hiking, fishing and drinking beers around the fire, but what he finds is campfire songs, kitchen duty and crafts along with a beautiful hippie girl who doesn't seem to like him the minute she sets eyes on him. Tegan Bennett thinks this weekend is going to be nothing but spectacular because coming back to the camp that she attended when she was a child brings back a lot of memories and is just what she needs to keep her mind off her job loss. Now if only Mr. grumpy pants wasn't around all of the time, but soon their dislike for one another turns to something that surprises them both. I was given an ARC for an honest review. All conclusions are mine and mine alone.
You can never go wrong picking up a Zoey York book and this definitely doesn't disappoint!
