There are risks to mixing business with pleasure...

IF A MAN HAS AN AFFAIR AT WORK, HE'S A STUD.

He was a royal prick.
The night we met, he ignored me.
Then Mr. Big Shot CEO grabbed my ass in a business meeting.
My boss just loaned me out to this guy.
Now, we're working on a major project together.
And our chemistry is dangerous.
Combustible.
If I allow it to ignite, I'll risk losing that promotion.
Worse, what if I lose myself in him?

IF A WOMAN HAS AN AFFAIR AT WORK, SHE'S A SLUT.

From the moment I saw her I knew she was trouble.
It was the combination of her fresh face, smart mouth and nipples that seemed to know my name.
This woman could satisfy my needs both in the boardroom and the bedroom.
But there was more to it than that.
I wanted her.
Really wanted her.
And I was in the position to change the course of her life.
But I've got secrets, secrets that could destroy her.
And either make her mine or drive her away forever.

(This is a standalone novel).

There was no way, no way at all I could go from Schooner to some new guy. Not happening! Holy hell was I wrong! Give it a chance, even if you are as hung up on Schooner as I was, Hale is definitely on Schooners heels!

Great characters who bring out all the ins and outs of a great romance - weak knees, sleepless nights, desire, and the ability to help each other be the best they can be. Add in off the charts chemistry and witty conversations, and you get another Julie A. Richman novel!

This book was outstanding. This is my first Julie A. Richman read. I am so excited I was not sure what to expect but she reeled me right in from the very first page. I love it when a story grabs your attention quickly and Slave to Love did that for me. It kept me intrigued and turning the pages and had me in a fit giggling, and wanting to throat punch someone at times. Hale and Sierra's story is full of twist, and turns, deceit, drama, & hot sex and strong characters. If you never read one of Julie A Richman's novels this is the perfect one to start with. Highly Recommend Christy Radical Reads Book Blog

Off and running from page 1, Slave to Love offers the reader two strong personalities in main characters Hale Lundstrom and Sierra Stone. They immediately leave their mark on the reader which is clearly how these characters live their lives. Sierra is a passionate, driven business woman doing her best to climb the corporate ladder without sacrificing herself in the process. Hale is the charming and brilliant CEO of SpaceCloud, a mover and shaker in the Tech world. Their first meeting is like the head-on collision of two speeding trains. In the aftermath, they’re both left wondering what exactly just happened as they pick up the pieces and move forward. A twist of business brings them together and the sparks start to fly. Sierra attempts to avoid getting sucked in by Hale. She’s a professional and determined to do her thing, but Hale oozes charisma in the way that powerful, alpha-male type men do. Hale tries desperately to figure out how to handle Sierra. He’s attracted to her mind, but he wants her and he can’t seem to figure out how to make those two things balance. By the beginning of the fourth chapter, I thought I had it all figured out. Not so much. That was where the twists and turns started. Hale is not as straight forward as we think. There’s a mystery in his background and although it’s teased, we are left wondering. Who doesn’t love a good mystery? Add in some intrigue that has an almost romantic suspense feel and you have quite a ride. Love is never simple right? Slave to Love is the type of book that is best not spoiled. As with the author’s previous books, it unfolds like watching a good movie. In this case, it’s as though a great office romance met up with a little James Bond in the best way possible. Throw in a surprise cameo from an old friend and a happily ever after that made me grin like the end of Notting Hill and what more do you need? Well, I guess we just need to cast it and put it on the big screen. Slave to Love is the perfect way to bring some heat to a cold winter evening. Two thumbs up, Julie!

Julie Richman always leaves you wanting more, from her first Moore series, I keep waiting for her next book, and Hale and Sierra are fantastic! You really get inside their minds and hearts and I couldn't stop reading until the end, and then had to read it again! Funny, emotional, sharp, believable characters, a must read when you need to lift your spirits and escape. Very well written and sexy. No cliffhangers and although it's not meant to make you cry, I did . Worth reading it and don't forget to hang a "Do not disturb" sign whilst at it.

I could not put this book down it was so very intriguing to me the ins and out of the story. The story of Hale and his mermaid. You'll have to read the book to understand what I meant by that. I hope there's going to be another book maybe one written about her friends Finding their true love

This is the first book of Julie's I have read. I love Sierra and Hale's story. Sierra is strong and determined to stick to her beliefs about mixing business with pleasure. Sometimes complications occur but if love is to be it will be.

The only think I would of like is when a new chapter started I would of love to have the name who it was about . It took me at least a couple of sentence to fig it out .

This is my first read of Julie A. Richman and I loved it! I was totally blown away by Slave to Love & fell in love with Hale & Sierra. The story has all the necessary things to make a wonderful book: it's funny, sexy, mysterious & has a happy ever after. Definitely going to read Ms. Richman again.

Where are these Stars coming from - did they read the same book I did? This story had so much potential that the unsatisfactory ending just came off depressing. The so called hero was consistently a spineless coward in his dealing with our heroine. Then he contributed to the rewarding of her enemies and not only doesn't apologize but fails to even comprehend his mistake. And finally when she decides to let him off the hook with no effort or grovelling on his part, his response is to leave her hanging as if he had reason to punish her??? Some of the problems with this book may be based on real world reality, but it is the very realism that I read to escape! This 'HEA' made me cry and not in a good way!

You know how you reach a certain point in a book and you just have to keep turning pages until you reach the end NO MATTER WHAT? Happened to me last night with Slave to Love. Started at 10pm and stayed up till 2am this morning to finish. From the start to the finish, I savored each and every page before I turned to the next one. Love my Schooner & Mia (Julie Richman's Finding Moore Series) but gotta say Hale & Sierra have a great love story all of their own. Julie is a vivid writer. You can hear, feel, see and almost touch the images her words on the page brings to you. She weaves a wonderful story that sucks you in. You cry, laugh, smile, and shake your head wondering "what were they thinking?" I highly recommend any book of Julie Richman's but if you are looking for a stand alone love story that keeps you turning pages then you want Slave to Love. Thanks Julie for another wonderful love story. Can't wait to see Moore from you.
