Good writing, scary scenario, great characters, couldn't put it down.

A little bizarre but believable at start...then just goes down from there....so many different character introductions with different viewpoints that it gets confusing at times

This book is very engaging. The author does an amazing job of character develoment and keeping the story moving. Definitely looking forward to his next book!!

Solid read but bogged down by too much time spent with ludicrously over done human villains. The Chicago politicians come off like a parody of the Sopranos and the head CDC doctor is made into some sort of ranting mad scientist with a God-like authority to command anyone and everyone from the Chicago ambulance drivers to the President of the USA. The bug/rat/virus stuff is effective and could be scary and it feels like a lot of thought and research went into depicting the details of evacuating a major city. Unfortunately, this stuff too often seems like filler wedged in between scenes of some foul-mouthed moron hurling florid threats at all and sundry and another casually ordering the murder of American citizens by heavily armed but never actually identified hordes of "soldiers" or using a cell phone to order up assorted varieties of WMD with apparently no questions asked. Not bad but could have been so much better.

One of the best books I've read in quite a while. Not my usual genre, normally a Patterson / Deaver style reader. So glad that I gave this one a shot. I'm looking forward to reading more from this author. Great job!

It tries to do too many things, very unrealistic.

I like books that make me think "what if" and this was a good one for that. Bed bugs... bats.... end of the world as we know it.... creepy doctor..... unsuspecting good guys.... Easy read and well written for an ebook. Some of the aren't.

Great read,  I live in the Chicagoland area and enjoyed the accuracy of the locations, buildings and politics of the Windy City.  The author must be from the area too.  Very easy read, suspenseful and descriptive.  Felt like I was right there.  Hope they make this into a movie !

I got the heevy jeebies just reading this story. As a movie, I don't know if I could sit in the theater without extreme paranoia as I imagined the bedbugs crawling out of the nooks and cranies coming for me.... *Invountary shudder*

I dare any one to read this and not scratch as you read. Fantastic book!

I was a little unsure at first about how good the story would be. I was instantly hooked and creeped out at how realistic it seemed. You almost feel like you're part of the story at times. It was a nice change from the usual stories that are creepy. Something so simple as a bed bug can be so creepy. You should definitely give this book a chance!

Too many obvious logical inconsistencies, a stereotypical cast of incongruous characters, unnecessarily lengthy and gruesome descriptions of violent deaths, and much, much more, all blended into nonstop, sometimes mindless action. That said, Sleep Tight compels nonstop reading to the end with this caveat, don't pause to think too much, just ride with it as if in a carnival funhouse ride.

Creepy icky BUGS...I may never sleep again. This was an okay read. You guys who like guns and blowing things up will probably enjoy this book. I simply got tired of the running, the shooting and unrealistic characters doing unrealistic things. There is plenty of gore for those who like, in this case, a real bugfest. I had to shower after this read. Jp

Great story. Had me itching all the time i read the book! Wonder if i will ever be able to stay in a hotel again without thinking of this story. Very realistic. Author draws you into the book and you become part of the tale. Highly recommend.

The cops are dirty, the city is run by the mob and everyone has bedbugs. Boring. ~*~LEB~*~
