The contents remain as academically sound as always, but the aesthetic appearance of has been much enhanced. It is a must for every gastroenterologist and hepatologist's bookshelf and the fast-moving pace of the field warrants a new edition. The online version is a significant advance and will enable this book to remain relevant in the UpToDate, easy access era.
