Overview

Many Americans find today's politically correct speech to be a false God. It is also a fancy way to lie. In relaxed company we Americans speak to each other quite differently. Slingo (slang lingo) expresses not only crystal clarity but simple truth. It is not always pretty, but it is the real deal. This is how Americans really talk. This is how we talk to our friends and also to our enemies. This is what we call Strait Talk. Homespun American lingo contains no spin, no sophistry, no obfuscation. This anthology and collection of terms is about us.
