I had a good time reading this book following Immy in her pursuit to become a private investigator. Luckily or not so lucky for the victim, but things are happening in Saltlick , Texas where Immy sinks her teeth into solving the criminal acts that has befallen her small town home. The mystery was good with plenty of twists and turns that moved the story forward to a satisfying conclusion. I love the wonderfully eccentric people that surround Immy, in particular her mother, whose extensive use of vocabulary words is amusing and her precocious daughter. This is an enjoyable read and I look forward to Broke , the next book in this likable series.
