I laughed and I cried and cried. What a great love story. She so reminded me of what it feels like to say goodbye to someone being deployed. Amazing how she shows the feeling of having to let someone go and not sure if you will see them again. So is the life of an Army brat.

One of the best books I've read during the summer of 2014. Characters that you actually care about and a good story.

Smoldering is the first book by Tiffany that I've had the pleasure of reading. But I can promise you that it won't be the last. Let's start by talking about Kelsey. She's every girl. Kelsey's relatable and through Tiffany's craft of written perfection you feel like you know exactly every emotion that Kelsey's experiencing. I love reading books that are real and this one is as real as they come. We all understand what it's like to feel the need to please others, but the moment Kelsey stands up for her own happiness is when you have that sense of hope that sometimes is missing in books. Then there's Riley...Oh Boy! He's gorgeous and attentive and everything you hope in a guy with just enough edge to make you swoon. You feel for him throughout the whole book, which sometimes isn't easy to do. The author allows you to live within their world and let me tell you, it's not perfect (Of course, what true love story is without imperfections?) but at the same time you know that this was how their story was supposed to be told. I found myself laughing, crying (like real ugly tears) and just wishing that the story would never end. There's a beauty in this books that draws you in from the first page, making it impossible to put down. This is a must read & a story that will stick with you for days and weeks after you turn the last page.

Debut Novel of the Year What Tiffany has been able to do with her character, takes a lot of skill and talent. She brought her characters to life and made you feel exactly what they are feeling. The love/attraction at first sight was beautifully written and made me eat up every word she said. I knew these characters would have an amazing life, but I was waiting for the shoe to fall. I knew there was going to be some kind of drama, something to make them rethink their relationship. What we got though, WOW!!! I wanted to yell and scream at the main characters, I was hurting with them, and crying with them. The emotional punch that Tiffany threw was amazing and killer. What she was able to do with ONE book, especially her debut novel, was something I will always remember. I cannot wait for her next one to come out and I will be stalking and probably bugging her until it happens. Smoldering is a MUST read!!!!
