Snow Family based on 0 ratings. 3 reviews.
My kids love snowmen so this was an automatic hit with them. It tells the story of the snow kids who run around all day getting into trouble because they have no parents to watch over them. The snow kids are snowmen come to life after people have built them. Then a little boy sees them and joins them for the day. After getting into a bit of a scrape with a sleeping bear, his parents come and save him and then he comes back the next day and builds the snow kids some snow parents to take care of them because he realizes the value of having parents and a family. The illustrations were well done and had the feel of being done on canvas so they had some texture to them.
My children and I love this story and its beautiful illustrations. It is lyrical and and a joy to read. The book's message is heartwarming.
The illustrations in this book are great. However, the story itself is very weak. The story does not flow nicely.
