Overview

He was the last thing Mariah expected to find at her regular dentist appointment. From the very first moment, the tattooed, bruise-covered, roller derby girl was immediately intrigued by the new dentist, Adam. Contrary to popular belief, underneath her hard exterior was a caring, loyal girl who was willing to put aside her normal romantic apprehensions for this handsome stranger.
The last thing on Adam's mind was romance. He was nursing fresh wounds from his recent, broken engagement to a woman he thought was perfect. So when his dad needed help handling his dental practice while recovering from an accident, Adam jumped at the chance to start anew in Austin and focus on himself. That is, until he meets Mariah, who shows him that an open-mind, sex, and a whole lot of laughter might be exactly what he needs to move on.

This was my first time reading this author and I thought this book was a very good read, pleasantly suprised. Interesting group of characters and great supporting cast. Enjoyed the growth of both main characters.

Loved the story...the book was funny, romantic, and a great read. There is a lesson learned that goes to prove why people should not judge a book by its cover or make assumptions because majority of the time it will be the wrong one. I like how Mariah got her revenge on Adam Jr...it was hilarious!!

I absolutely love this story! This was a love story with two very different people who've both been hurt by people's perceptions of them. It's quite refreshing to have a story that is both sexy and tells the story in a way that's not overly vulgar. I hope the writer does a story on the main character's brother (Mariah's brother Joshua) and sister (Adam's sister Yvette). There seems to be some possible heat there. I really enjoyed the possibility of being total opposites and what it brings to a relationship. A seriously good read!

Was I the only one who thought Adam was a bit of a douge?? I have never read a romance book where I couldn't stand the male lead. It took me 3 weeks to get through this book. The main characters worked my nerves so bad I had to stop and read other books. I hate not knowing the end so I kept coming back. I wouldn't recommend this book at all!!

Really cute. Very original, and great storyline. A great teaching in once again: Never judge a book by it's cover. Made me want to join a roller derby team!!!
