This is one my favorite books to give friends and family expecting a new bundle of joy. It is the perfect bedtime book to read with the singsong language becoming its own lullabye. The artwork is completely charming and offers so many little surprises to discover and opportunities to teach new vocabulary to inquisitive toddlers and of course little ones learning to read can practice their ABCs.
This book is such a treat for children especially if they are learning to read or count. i remember learning to read this with my mum and the memory means so much to me. i really cherish it among my collection of books and i highly recommended this for young children.
My 3 1/2 year old daughter is just learning her alphabet, and loves this story. She picks up on the rhyming and on the rhythm of the words. The illustrations are excellent and give you plenty to look at when you want to stop and linger on a page, but the rhymed verses can move you when you want to move...quickly. I love that this book teaches numbers and letters simultaneously. Great read for the little ones!
This is my favorite children's book. Cute pictures & easy rhymes. I have given it at several baby showers, resulting in favorable comments.
