Overview

In October of 2003, after 51 years as an editor of Bible Talk and Restoration Review, Dr. Leroy Garrett took advantage of the advent of e-mail to launch yet another series of occasional essays under the rubric "Soldier On!" This series which was sent out via e-mail and subsequently posted on a website, is now in its tenth year. It contains the distilled thinking of the author at its best. In 400 essays (and counting) Garrett engages the reader in a broad range of topics, sharing a perspective of faith that comes from over sixty years of research, experience, and reflection on scripture. This collection of essays is sure to be treasured for generations to come and will no doubt be used by many for daily devotional reading.

At age 94, Leroy Garrett currently resides in Denton, Texas, where he serves as a teacher in his local church, the Singing Oaks Church of Christ, and speaks frequently by invitation to area churches. He also continues to write occasional essays. All new essays will be added to this volume, at no charge, from time to time. Notice of update will be posted at the top of this book description.
