Solid Stone: Revolving Door by E.G. Patrick

Some may say I'm quiet and unassuming. It would shock most that my nights are filled with dark elaborate fantasies. I never thought they'd come to life until I opened the door to Adam Stone, the Master of the Boardroom and the Bedroom. My tantalizing new reality with Adam scares the hell out of me. I know I should run like hell, but I can't. He makes me want more, much more.

I've been deemed the Master of Mergers. I have what it takes to bind the largest and most competitive companies when no one else can. But, Violet... she's milk and honey, untainted, a clean slate. When she walked through the door, I knew I had to have her. I wanted her more than any other woman, and I always get what I want.

Can Violet and Adam's passion ignite an everlasting fire? Or will their differences make their romance go up in flames?

Violet Cole is a paralegal in a small legal firm..while working on a merger with a larger firm, Laurier & Stone she meets the strong sexy lawyer Adam Stone. There was a power pull of emotions between these two characters when they first met in the revolving door. Who would have thought after there accidental meeting that they would have a revolving door romance. Can Violet let her insecurities and virginity keep Adam by her side or will she keep throwing away her chances with the sexy hot lawyer ?? This installment of Adam and Vee's relationship is fast growing and for a person like Adam who doesn't believe in love and is ALWAYS in control has him unnerved !! Can they get through the emotions ? Or will a misunderstanding have them separated and both miserable ?? Can't wait to see how a fantasy of Violet's can get them to grow as one !!

I liked reading this story and am looking forward to see where the next book goes. Violet has a great job but she is in a dating slump. One day she encounters Adam and a connection sparks to life between the two. At times their connection is strong and other times immature. The physical bond between them, is off the chart sexy hot! I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

If you are looking for a hot & sexy read, look no further! This book was an interesting story of a very inexperienced gal & her first lover. I thought Violet & Adam were fascinating alone & amazing together. But while I enjoyed it I did have a few issues with how controlling Adam came across as & I also felt like Violet lost herself a little by not being more assertive because she feared Adam would leave her. I also thought the writing was a little too wordy. All in all a great read! ARC provided by the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Solid Stone reminds me a bit like 50 Shades, which I do like about this story, however, I had a hard time connecting with Violet. She's a 23 year old that came across more like a teenager with her first crush. I think I would have enjoyed this story more if she was a bit more mature. Adam characters was very well written. He was a mature, strict and cold business man who was immediately drawn to Violet. It was a bit weird that Violet had fantasies about an alter ego and a prince. I would have rather that not been part of the story but it was the reason the author was able to introduce a new lifestyle between Violet and Adam. There will be a second in the series and I am intrigued to see if the second book will be better developed. ARC received via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Solid Stone: Revolving Door by E.G. Patrick is the first book in an erotic series. Violet Cole is a history major turned paralegal. An unpleasant experience in her past has put her off dating, but she does enjoy a richly detailed, fantasy that keeps her mind occupied while she is not at work. Adam Stone is captivating and commanding. He keeps his relationships short and at arms length. Something in his past makes him shy away from love and commitment. The characters as individuals were likable, and they had adequate chemistry as a couple to make a relationship believable. You'll never guess where Violet and Adam meet! Quite literally, they bump into each other in a revolving door. Their instant attraction is obvious, but Violet can't imagine that someone of Adam's stature would consider her romantically. As their relationship continues, it is obvious that the two will eventually have to deal with Adam's past and their conflicting relationship needs. Solid Stone definitely has a familiar feel to it in terms of the general plot. It is by no means a knock-off, and the overall writing quality is good. The plot is rather thin, but if you're looking for lusty, erotic tale, Solid Stone: Revolving Door will provide you with very detailed material to feed your own fantasies.

I received this book from the author for review Great story line. Characters come off very open with each other, which you don't fine a lot of in books. It was refreshing to read, but it comes off a little dry with how honest they are. The story was not what I was excepting, of course I didn't read the description of the book so could have a complete unfiltered mind going into the story. Violet is naive and is getting in to her first relationship. Adam is the Alpha male. I know that's how most of these books start off with. Like I said their completely honest with each other. I think if Adam was more a Bad A**, to me feels like he has a stick up this a**, he would be more of a perfect book boyfriend!!!! And yes he can in control and Bad A**. Over all great start of new series and can't wait to find out what happens next in their story!!!

Title: Erotic! “Solid Stone: Revolving Door” by E. G. Patrick Reviewed by T’s Blogging 12/06/2015 6:52 p.m. Steamy and sensual along with the most mind blowing sex, which covers countless pages of E. G. Patrick’s “Solid Stone,” this book entices and excites. When readers think there is no other way for the author to create an interesting and arousing sex scene, they are not let down. Patrick opens doors to a world that seems vaguely familiar and sometimes titters toward the realm of fan-fiction. Erotic and romance book lovers can easily point out some similarities to E. L. James trilogy, but don’t get it twisted, Patrick is no copycat. With a twist of its own, “Solid Stone” takes off full throttle in an intriguing and unpredictable direction that will have you forgetting about Christian…Who? As Violet Cole, a paralegal, bumps into the career accomplished Adam Stone, the pair explore and satisfies their sex craved desires as they attempt to define a relationship that is appeasing to them both. But here’s where it gets so darn good! Violet isn’t this shy and clueless virgin that needs much teaching. Her yearnings are so intense that she creates an imaginative world in which she is a submissive servant girl that enjoys being ruled by her prince. Her internal need of being ruled creeps into her world of reality when things between her and Adam become complicated. It is Violet who opens the door to the realm of dominate and submissive, which will have you running to purchase book II. While Patrick knows exactly how to keep reader’s attention, there were a few scenarios and or conversations that were repetitive and takes away from the developing of the story. Readers will find themselves desiring to learn if Adam, the control freak, will finally pop his gasket? Or, why the drama starts too heightened and then drops flat. Then again, when the second to the last page is turned readers will realize this book is only an introduction into a darker world that Patrick is about to unveil, and I can’t wait! I give “Solid Stone” 5 out of 5 stars. Happy Reading
