I purchased this book after seeing where Skip's royalties were going. The Baltimore Ronald McDonald House. Not only did I feel good about the donation, but his poetry is a style that is his own. He definately pulls emotions from your heart. A definate read for anyone that want a good descrition of love.

So much said in so little words. I can't wait for more. I especially liked the poem 'Seasons Untold' It really warmed my heart.

I thought this grouping of poetry was beautiful. The title is perfect. How wonderful in this day and time to find something that expresses what this world needs more of...LOVE!

Had to read it to see why the ratings were so high. I must say, reading it, I understand. The poems are short and strong. You can feel your heart responding to the words. I can read this over and over! I could only wish for a romantic person and envy anyone Skip is in a relationship with.

This book showed much romanticism. Skip really knows how a person in love should feel. I am a college student and I know that I relate a lot to his poems and they make me reminisce about all of the good times I have had with my boyfriend over the 4 1/2 years we've been together.

I had to see the peotry to believe what is being said about it. I read the first few poems, which are short, and didn't see much that would keep my interest, but I kept turning the pages. That was my downfall of the belief that this book was just hype. I read the poem on page 6 and, well, I must say, it changed my perspective of this book. I can see how, anyone, can releate to the words Skip writes. I have never seen poetry so well written in so few words. I read on and found myself daydreaming about when I first met my wife and saw how I let our relationship go on and get caught up on the every day rituals of work and children. I know that it's not too late and I plan on bringing romance back into our life. For those of you that are not a believer, that it can happen, I suggest you try this book.

I have never enjoyed a book of poety as much as this one. Skip writes short verses that say much more than a page of poetry. I read one and think I will not feel an emotion as strong, only to find another that is. It's like riding in the mountains and stopping to take a picture of the view, thinking there is no other better, only to go around the next turn and see a better view. What a wonderful book to read before going to bed!

Reading Skip's poems make me daydream about what romance should be like. They are short poems, but have so much meaning in so little words. I plan on buying blank cards for my hubby and writing some of the verses, from the book, into the card. It's very unusual for my hubby to like poetry, but he thought Skip's verses were great! It's working just the way Skip said it would. I can't thank him enough.

I must say that reading this book is so much more enjoyable than reading what people call love poetry. Skip is someone that really understands what love is about. This is poetry you can read and close your eyes to enjoy the moment. I can read this over and over.

I have read many authors of love poetry, and I must say, this one is like a James Bond movie song: 'Nobody Does It Better' I can't wait to see the love novel he's working on!

I purchased this book for a wedding gift, but I will have to buy another one. I began reading and could not put the book down. Every time I thought I read the best one, the next one was just as great! Maybe I can get my husband to read it and get him to see the romance I need in my life.

I would highly recommend this book for anyone. After reading, just a few lines, I can see what Skip meant when he said, 'It will draw romance from the deepest part of you mind, and excite your emotions.' I have a new outlook after a bad marriage and I will know what to look for now! This is what, I always thought, romantic poetry is about.

Reading through this book, I actually had a short cry. These poems are short, but what wonderful feelings in such short verse. I would highly recommend this for young lovers and romantic couples. I could only wish I would meet someone this romantic.

Reading these short poems have more feeling in them than most love poems. Skip writes a short love poem that does exactly what he said it would do. 'Pull emotions from the deepest part of my heart. I will keep this book with me all the time. My girlfriend loves it! Can't wait for more.
