I was fascinated by this very well told tale of a British veterans' experiences after prolonged service and how he met severe challenges. I was unfamiliar with many of the terms used, but context was such that it was perfectly understandable. A novel that covers real time problems.
Very predictable. Characters are not particularly well developed, plot is exactly what you would expect. Passes the time but not one I would recommend
Book for D day than this one. There must be hundreds of non fiction and fiction out there . who does the selection ?
