Oscar is a local Anchorage veterinarian whose mother likes to set him up on blind dates. By accident his misidentifies his date and falls quickly in love with Lolly whose life goal is to become a musical star. Predictable plot with lively dialogue in this cute romance read. (I received a copy of the book in exchange for an honest and unbiased opinion.)

On a blind date arranged by his mother Oscar Rockwell meets the woman of his dreams by accident. Lolly Winston thinks that she's meeting a man who can help her achieve her dream of breaking into the music industry. When she's charmed by the local veterinarian, she questions what she really wants out of life. Can a mixup lead to true love? They part, but can't forget each other. Oscar sets out to win the lady. I was pulled into this sweet touching romance. Oscar is such a caring man. His love of animals drew me to him. He's a good man who deserves happiness. Lolly is a caring woman who falls for this giving man as well as an eleven year old abused husky. This story is a touching mix of love and hope. Dreams change as do our desires. The question is do we have the courage to take the risk. Alaska makes a beautiful setting. It's rugged, beautiful and free. I love Melissa Storm's writing. She did a beautiful job with Somebody Like You. She touched my heart. I kept thinking that dreams do come true. I received a copy of this book which I voluntarily read and reviewed. My comments are my honest opinions.

This was a sweet, well-written story. Lolly has a dream to succeed as a singer and she is offered the chance to meet with an agent at a local tavern. Oscar has agreed to go on one more blind date in exchange for his mother not setting him up with anyone else after that. Mistaken identity brings them together, and they are very drawn to each other. Can Lolly make time for something other than her big break into music? Can they find a way to have a future together? I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading others by this author.

A very sweet love story. Oscar is waiting for his blind date in a tavern. Lolly is waiting for her new agent I'm the same tavern to talk about her new singing carrier. They met account dentally and the attraction is very strong. But Lolly is looking for success and she wants to reach her dream: to become a popular singer. Can love, friendship and a lovely dog make it possible for Oscar and Loly to have their happy end? I received an advance copy of this book and I really love de it.
