He needs to find a killer.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Would have liked an ending that resolved a main issue, but perhaps that is resolved in one of the other books in the series. Also, there were a lot of mistakes that were missed in tenses and wrong words being used or misspelled which was kind of annoying.

Great story, usually I can figure out the end, this one kept me guessing. I will be reading more.

Excellent reading. I was captivated until the end. Usually I can figure out the villain by the middle of the book---not this time!!! Great entertainment for a rainy day.

BN asked for a review. It has been a while since I read this and the only note I have is "too much sex to bother with". Knowing my preferences, I would guess that the sex was intrusive and the mystery wasn't compelling enough to compensate. Sorry that I can't recall details.

Excellent story line, really held my attention (Im a demanding reader). Thus one would truly have been rated 5-stars/excellent if it hadnt been for the explicit sex. I really saw no reason for adfing that and dont care for it.

WOW what a book, loved it!        Here is a woman who was picked herself up and learned to fight for the underdog.  Along the way she meets someone who sees right through her.  Great read.

Great series. I challenge you not to read them all. Each bookcan stand alone however once you have read the first book you will not be able to stop until you know what happens next. I cannot wait for the next book of this series.

I enjoyed this book. I really did. Loved Parker and the storyline. But Miranda? The character irritated me. There was almost nothing in her except her past that I could relate to. Her character and mannerisns are totally foreign to me. I won't be reading another in the series.

Definitely one of those books you don't want to put down til it's done. A woman who gets raped and discovers she is pregnant while living with an abusive husband. After the baby is born the husband, who is a bad cop, puts the baby up for adoption by forging her signature. She leaves her husband and spends her time at odd jobs while moving around the country looking for her child. She ends up working for a detective agency where she helps solve several murders of young girls.

I thought the book was great. You think you've figured out who the real killer is, several times, then you change to someone else. Finally, it's a total surprise. I look forward to reading more books from this author.
