Series had a great storyline. The characters were relatable. After the first book I ended up purchasing the rest of the series. I really enjoyed it....

The Southerland by Evelyn Adams is a great series to add to your collection. You cannot help to fall in love with the Southerland men and see how the sisters find their men along the way.

I’m fairly new to the Southerlands and am enjoying them so much. Adam, as the last unattached member of his family is looking to settle down. Erica, a young widow who is new in town meets Adam through her young son. She also has a connection with the Southerlands through his brother. I’ve enjoyed reading about them getting to know one another and the issues that each one faces. I’m looking forward to going back to reading this entire series because this family is quite interesting.

This is the conclusion to this really amazing series and I was sad to see it go. This story features Adam and he is the police officer workaholic. He finds this kid tagging a building and that is how he meets his mother, Erica on Thanksgiving. All the Southerlands are in this book. It was so great to see them all happy and reaching out to our heroine, Erica. Erica moves to town with her 11 year old son because her husband died in Afganistan 3 years before Her son is doing terribly and so she moves to be near Travis Southerland. They have never met but chatted on the phone and he agreed to help her. The only thing unbelievable about this book was this murky connection to Travis. Once Erica meets Travis and her son meets him, they both are very angry that he survived. Which is probably believable but also weird if they moved to be closer to him. But back to Adam. He is wonderful. He meets Erica and falls hard and fast. Erica is still in mourning and I loved how the author showed Erica loving her husband and still moving on with Adam. I also loved how she showed Adam but still jealous but accepting of this ghost in their love story. Now I have to say something about Blake. I loved him in his book. In here he is a jerk at times. He was very worried about his twin, Adam and how hard and fast he fell for Erica and while I felt that was realistic at times I felt he was too involved and should have been told to butt out. This story was a really great way for the series to end and I was really sorry to see it conclude, though the author has some cousins coming in future books.
