Something for Nothing: Gambling in the Glass City 1910-1952 based on 0 ratings. 1 reviews.
The book intrigued my Mother who lived during this time period. She rememebers the locations of the gambling places. As a little girl her father who delivered ice would point out different places and would tell her the latest happenings at each place. She was shocked to think so much evil was going on right in the area where she grew up. Well written sir. Even my sister's husband who lives in Paris, Tenn. remembers coming up to Toledo with his father's business and hearing all kinds of stories about the gambling places. Thanks for preserving our Toledo history Mr. Dixon!
