Cedric Taylor is one of fifteen children born to Robert and Rosea Lee Taylor in Houston, Texas. He has a Fine Arts Degree from Sam Houston State University. He found his drawing talent early in life when he had trouble sleeping and his mother soothed him by providing pencil and paper. He played basketball from a young age, riding his ten-speed bike from gym to gym. The strength he developed, along with his art and speed reading skills, served him well during college and a long career in commercial art with ministries. He now works as a freelance artist, and a teacher at Painting with a Twist in Colorado. Cedric has four grown children.

Delightful childrens' book! A combination of fabulous illustrations and clever narrative will make this book a favorite for children. Having read loads of books to my granddaughter, I know that this one will capture the attention of a youngster. It has a sneaky message delivered from the cat's point of view, but it doesn't get in the way. Recommended by a grandma!
