Nick was someone she hadn't thought to find. From the time she was in the bus depot, she had been listening to him behind a line of people. She had never been drawn to a man from the sound of his voice.
After her divorce two years ago, men were of no interest to her. She had moved from Denver to Dallas to get away from the memories that kept coming up where ever she went on the Front Range.
The ride north on a Greyhound bus, was filled with emotions long buried to her and new ones that were awakened. She and Nick found talking and foreplay, that lead to passion, on a dimly lite bus headed north.
Teckla couldn't explain the feeling of knowing him, but her failed marriage stood in her way. Did she want to gamble with her heart again?

About the Author
I started reading in 6th grade and by 7th Grade, I was hooked on writing. Whether it be from my need to write, or entertaining my children, when they were small, I've always done some form of writing. Throughout my life, I find by keeping a journal, it can be used for stories and story ideas. The journal has helped me many times to clear my mind of clutter. My life is simpler when I write. When I'm able, I enjoy reading, puttering with flowers, inside or out, my remaining therapy cat and my new grand baby.
