I read all of the Tarzan series 25 years ago and I still enjoy reading them. Edgar Rice Burroughs' creation of Tarzan and the adventures he endures keep me on the edge of my seat eventhough I know what will happen next. "Son of Tarzan" is just as exciting as the first Tarzan adventure. I would like to see Hollywood create a Tarzan movie true to the books. I have yet to see one.

This 4th in the Tarzan series (1915) follows the adventures of Tarzan's son Jack. Despite all the civilizing efforts of his parents John and Jane Clayton, Lord & Lady Greystoke, in London, Jack feels the call of the wild and sets off for Africa as a teenager with Akut, the great ape, and learns to live in the jungle like his father before him, eventually maturing into Korak, the Killer. Evildoers abound, along with a piquant love interest and rivalry, and Burroughs moves the story along at a reckless pace. Anyone who wants to write action books and use a good vocabulary too should read him assiduously! Lots of fun to read on the Rocket.

This book was digitized by running it through an OCR program and a poor one at that. The result is an unreadable mess.
