This devotional is the perfect fit! Sometimes devotionals tend to be overwhelming by either the length of the devotions or in the way it is written (sometimes over your head). I must say that Soul H2O is by far the best devotional I have read. It is the perfect mix of devotional that is encouraging and uplifting, followed by a prayer and Bible verses that match the topic of the devotional. Sherry (the author) also lets us in by sharing some of her own personal stories. The best part…it is all contained in a book that is small enough to keep in your purse for people who are on the go! I would strongly suggest this devotional book. Trust me, you will not be disappointed!
I LOVE this book! It truly has been a wonderful way to start my mornings. If you're like me you love starting your day spending time with God, but sometimes it can be hard to fit in long devotionals. This is perfect because there small but meaty chunks to encourage you through your busy day. It also has a prayer to pray (one of my favorite parts! Why don't more devotionals do this?) and bible verses to help you to "draw from the well" by actually getting into the word of God. Received this book from the Author/Publisher.
I voluntarily received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. Soul H2O is made up of 40 short devotionals, each meant to point you to the well that never runs dry. Through her own personal stories and those from God's Word, Sherry brought refreshment and encouragement to my heart. She sprinkles nuggets of truth to hold onto that line up with biblical truth. Here's one of my favorites: “Obedient faith believes in what God says over your circumstances.” That’s the same faith Paul referred to when he said, “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see” (Hebrews 11:1 NIV).
