Christian family values are the theme of this book. It addresses sibling rivalry, idolatry, disobedience, adultery, fornication, marital conflict, and so much more. Sanders writes wonderfully; incorporating wit and suspense reminiscent of Tyler Perry's style. Biblical teaching threads the plot from cover to cover. If I could pull a single most prominent lesson from this book, it would be "Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall". It's funny how the events of this story comes back around to the starting point. This is a great book. It has a lot to offer everybody in the family.

Soul Matters by Yolonda Tonette Sanders Genre: 'Christian fiction' Rating: 9 'EchelonBooks' 5 'Amazon' 5 'Barnes and Noble' Review by Tavares S. Carney ¿ ¿the Christian Page Turner¿ Wendy is sure she has everything in order ¿ she¿s a Christian woman, wife, has a successful career and comes from a good Christian family. What Wendy isn¿t prepared for is the ultimate test of her life ¿ her faith, her marriage, her relationships with friends and family are all tested, some more dramatically than others, as Wendy sets out on the emotional rollercoaster with twists and turns that is sure to keep you yearning to learn what happens next. In the end, Wendy discovers that the one that ¿has it all¿ is still subject to being tested and that it is through faith, communication, trust and understanding that real families come together and stay together.

Soul Matters was an awesome book. Me being a writer also, was inspired to try my own hand at writing a novel. I was encouraged by it. I laughed, I cried, I was a little angry at Gramma sometimes.(lol) Excellent job! Keep up the good work. Be Blessed!

I would like to say that i'm only 15 years old and I thought Soul Matters was a very good, interested and outstanding book it was the best book i ever read.I hated the fact that Frances died and didn't get a chance to see Kim's wedding and I was sooooo glad that Wendy and Kevin got back together I almost cried. It was also good that Wendy learned from her mistakes that she made and that Wendy and Kevin gave there relationship another chance. Thanks Yolonda for writing a book like this you really make reading more fun , I can't wait to read other books by you.

This was an excellent book. I can't want until she writes another. All of the situations in the book were true to life. I can relate to all of them. Either I have been there or know someone who has. Get the book it is well worth it.

I am in my forties and probably have not read a novel since high school or junior high, but I read Soul Matters and I fell in love with it! Yolonda Tonette Sanders does a FANTASTIC job of drawing the reader into the story. I could not put the book down! I laughed, I cried, I even got mad at Wendy for being so stubborn! This book was great and I hope Yolonda is working on another book because I'm looking forward to more great stories from her. VERY GOOD JOB!!!!! Even if you're not an avid reader, I would suggest getting this book because you'll definitely become one. Soul Matters is a must have!

The book was great! The person who said that they couldn't get into the characters - WHAT BOOK WERE YOU READING? From chapter one, I was drawn into the lives of all characters. The book was very realistic. I look forward to reading more stories by this author. I will recommend this book to every one I know who reads and has a book club!

This book had a good message but I really didn't get into the characters. Also, I didn't like the flow of the book as the author found it necessary to explain everything leaving nothing to the imagination. It plot was very simple and unrealistic.
