I purchased this book as a present for a friend who has read a lot about ancient Egypt. This is his main hobby, so I took a chance by buying this book.I only hoped that since it was so recently published, it would contain information her had not yet read about. I was not dissapointed. He loved this book. It's full of information he hasn't read before, not just a rehash of the same old facts and information. The topic is one that isn't often written about in such detail which made it especially interesting. The numerous, bright, large color photographs are an added bonus. A great book!
