Overview

"FOR FRACTURED SOULS ARE LIKE MAGNETS.
DRAWN TO COLLIDE INTO AN IMPOSSIBLE BLISS..."

Labeled a 'Cursed' woman of Eve from birth, Maddie has endured nothing but pain and repression at the hands of The Order's most abusive elder, Moses. Now living with her sister in The Hangmen's secluded compound, finally, Maddie, is free. Free from the suffocating faith she no longer believes in. Free from endless years of physical and mental torment.

Just... free...

At age twenty-one, the timid and shy Maddie is content to live within the confines of her new home--safe from the outside world, safe from harm and, strangely, protected by the Hangmen's most volatile member; the heavily pierced and tattooed, Flame.

Flame.

The man who ceaselessly watches over her with his midnight dark and searing eyes. The man who protects her with a breath-taking intensity. And the man who stirs something deep within her numbed heart.

But when circumstances conspire for Flame to need HER help, Maddie bravely risks it all for the broken man who has captivated her fragile soul.

The Hangmen's most infamous member, Flame, is ruled by one thing--anger. Plagued by haunting demons from his past, an all-consuming rage, and isolated by an abhorrent hatred of being touched, Flame's days are filled with suffocating darkness, pierced only by a single ray of light--Maddie. The shy, beautiful woman he cannot purge from his thoughts. The woman he has an overwhelming need to possess...
... the only person who has ever been able to touch him.

Flame's mission in life is to protect Maddie, to keep her safe. Until a trigger from his troubled past sends him spiraling into madness, trapping him in the deepest recesses of his disturbed mind.

His Hangmen brothers fear that Flame is beyond saving.

His only hope of salvation: Maddie and her healing light.

Dark Contemporary Romance.
Contains explicit sexual situations, violence, disturbingly sensitive and taboo subjects, offensive language, and very mature topics.
Recommended for age 18 years and over.

Flame and Maddie! Finally!! They are the most perfectly sweetest broken couple ever! I love all three sisters and couples, but Flame and Maddie are my favorite. There's just something so much more special about these two characters than the other four. It breaks my heart now just thinking back on everything they each went through as children, there really are some sick freaking people in this world! Oh and that whole play that went down between Cain/Rider and Judah did not surprise me in the least. After all Cain has been having doubts about everything for a while now and Judah and those nasty old men like to molest and sexually assault little girls, using the bible as a shield so yeah...no surprise that there were treacherous acts committed against the supposed prophet...sighs... Another wonderful yet deplorable addition to a very unique MC series... SR

And finally we have the book of the most intriguing character of this series, Flame. From the first book he already calls attention for not being very "normal", always with his knives and his blood thirst. It was the most awaited for me, and I was not disappointed. His book is wonderful. Maddie is such a heroine. At the end of the first book, when the club invades the cult and rescues the girls, Maddie takes an attitude that will trace her destiny: she holds Flame in gratitude for him having killed the elder who abused her. Maddie is Mae's younger sister and the one who suffered the most. That is why she has closed in its own world and can not be touched. When she is rescued, she spends her days in a club bedroom, never interacting with anyone, fearing everyone. Flame has its own demons. His sanity is not the best, he knows that something is wrong with his head, he can not bear to be touch, but that girl, with eyes so tormented, with a simple gesture as a hug, managed to stop the flames that burn inside him. Thus, Maddie arranges a guardian. Flame spends his days watching over the room she is in, so nothing will happen to her. Whether sitting outside the door or making rounds under her window, Flame will be a constant shadow. Until a situation will put his little sanity to the test. Suffering an outbreak, Flame will need all the help to endure this nightmare, and Maddie will be the figure who will help him. The frail and fearful girl will be stronger than she looks and will fight to save Flame. I loved the two characters. Their story is similar. Both suffered as a child in the hand of people who used the faith in a distorted way. The whole situation of Flame is heart-breaking. His father is a monster. Thinking that his son to be different (it is not spoken in the book, but it is noticeable that he is autistic) was the work of the devil and allow the atrocities that have done with him, and worse, he even abuses the child show that the devil was him, not an innocent child. Everything that happened to his mother and his brother only served to hurt him even more. The reader will suffer with him, and tears are guaranteed. His story will be sad, painful, but necessary to understand why he is the that away now. The friendship between him, Ak and Viking is the only good thing in his life. It's what keeps him going. Until Maddie's arrival. Maddie also suffered a lot. Her story is as tragic as Flame's. Her childhood and innocence were stolen. Not allowing anyone's touch, her sketchbook is an escape from her reality, projecting on the drawings the things she would like to be doing, how she wanted to be living, but what she knows will be very difficult to accomplish. Maddie is the strongest of all heroines. The moment she confronts the club to take care of Flame made me laugh. It was good to see her imposing herself and showing that she was serious. The scene of the two on the floor, wanting to touch but not being able to, was one of the saddest I ever read. Two shattered souls, who have recognized each other and together try to glue the pieces together, and who knows, maybe find a normality. Their story is well worth it. The surprise that Flame discovers in the end will be an interesting addition to the plot. The end of the book ends on a hook for the next one, which will leave the reader eager for answers. Maddie and Flame may not be the typical couple, but their love is epic

What a beautiful and tragic story. I absolutely adore Flame. After everything he has been through all he wants is love. Maddie was wonderful even after everything she has gone through too. I loved these too and they immediately put themselves on my top favorite couples and favorite book. Flames adores Maddie and she him and it was tragic and incredible to see them fight their pasts together so they could have a happy future together. I recommend that everyone should read this book.

Tilles storys are so differentt than other "love stories". They have a lot of crazy, sad, horrible, unexpected, love and so many more feelings in them. But I lovethis series and I'm sitting patiently for the others to come out I can't wait to see how she does this. I'm pretty sure she's gonna break my heart completly by the time she's done with this series. Thanks Tille for writing your great!!!!!

“I used to wonder how two people—one broken girl, and one broken boy—could ever move on from their dark and tortured pasts. But now I know. Together, that’s how. They fight their way through… together.” I'll say up front this was a very difficult book....emotionally! The previous books dealt with difficult material but this one was just MORE! With that said, it was amazingly written and addicting to the point that I could not put it down for a second. I just had to get to the end ... and what an end. These characters dig their way into your soul and you just feel for them. Yes, this series is that good. I promise that the light will over shadow the dark! I am not going to say anything else because it just must be read for yourself! For fractured souls are like magnets. Drawn to collide into an impossible bliss…”

I know what I'm getting into when I pick up a Hades Hangmen novel; a story that will tear me apart and then somehow put me back together. It's dark, violent, painful, but also equally full of hope and love, that eventually find themselves the victors. I don't know how, but it does and it's all I've wanted for Maddie and Flame from the moment I met them. By all rights Maddie and Flame are superhuman. They are extraordinary, not because of their respective beauty and rage, but for their inner strengths. They have the capability to withstand so much and they have. It was haunting to read about Maddie's experiences as a child in a place where she was hated and abused. It was even more devastating to learn the truth behind Flame's "madness". I wanted to crawl into the pages of the book so many times and take matters into my own hands. I physically hurt when I read about what forged them into the people they were. Flame and Maddie have had an interesting attraction to one another from the very beginning. They have this alchemy that is untouchable. It's like the other person is their lodestone, their port of safety in a storm. Perhaps it is just because they recognize the goodness and perfection in each other when all everyone else might see is the faults. I loved the way they were with each other. Even when there was no verbal exchange or physical contact between them, I could feel the peace the other's presence brought to them. I think this is the darkest Hades novel to date. If you've read the previous books you know I'm not saying this lightly. I was not able to cry. I was so hurt and angry, my tears evaporated in my eyes as they formed and I was left with a burning desire for vengeance in my gut. There were many, many times when I was shaken to my soul. I often wondered why it was I kept reading when it'd just be easier to stop, but I had to know what happened next. There were so many twists I could've never anticipated; for every one I guessed correctly, there were probably three beyond my wildest imagination. Besides Maddie and Flame, I loved seeing Styx and Mae, Ky and Lilah, and getting to know AK and Viking better. Those two are truly Flame's family. I loved the way they cared for him and looked out for him. I loved the way Maddie's sisters looked out for her but allowed her to do what was best for her. I'm still amazed at how tiny, fragile Maddie soothed Flame the wild beast. I was ecstatic to see the Prez and VP with their old ladies doing well. They were the best examples for Maddie to see that she wasn't ruined and that there was a chance for happiness for her after all. In the end, nothing I really say can prepare you for the magnitude of this book. It'll play heavy with your emotions and it'll stick with you long after you've finished the book, but you'll be back for more. It's a book you'll devour like I did, even when I wanted to read with one eye closed so to lessen how deeply I was feeling what I was reading. Every time I read a Hades Hangmen novel I think there's no way Tillie Cole can out do herself, but she does and I'm left speechless. Flame and Maddie overcome so much to find happiness and I think experiencing an epic book hangover is worth it.

The book was phenomenal. Flame's story was remarkable and heartbreaking. The way that Maddie opened up herself to be there for Flame was selfless. I recommend this book whole-heartedly.

What a beautiful, difficult story to read, so full of devastating despair and incredible hope. Well written and an amazing addition to a great series. Highly recommend. Series must be read in order to fully understand the events.

This Styx Girl Loves Flame!! Tillie Cole has done it again. She has found a way for us to fall even deeper in love with the brothers of the Hades Hangmen MC, and even more so with Flame. She has given us a story that at times will make you scream, laugh, cry and want to go do some damage to some of the characters that pop up in this one. She has also given us a story that you will not want to put down once you start reading it. The book is extremely well paced and, if you have read the other books in the series, which you need to before reading Souls Unfractured, then you know that the characters in this series are extremely complex. I have wanted to read Flame and Maddie's story ever since I met them in "It Ain't Me, Babe," and their story did not disappoint at all. This book was an extremely emotional read. It aslo was an extremely difficult read. My heart broke, not only for Maddie and learning about what happened to her during her time in The Order, but it completely shattered for Flame. Wow!! I did not think that Flame's story would be a much more heartbreaking read than Maddie's story, but it was. At times it was seriously hard for me to continue reading the book, because Flame's story was so heart-wrenching and hard to digest, and truthfully, it was completely cringe-worthy a lot of the times. There were times when I could not breathe while learning about all that Flame, a member of the Psycho Trio of the Hangmen, had gone through. Although Souls Unfractured was difficult to read at times, it was also a joy to read. Who would have guessed that the Little One would turn out to be such a strong character??!! I absolutely loved Maddie in this story. She is the perfect match for Flame. They calm and protect each other, and that is the true beauty of their relationship. I loved that Tillie Cole was not afraid to let Flame be Flame, and to let his character have the weaknesses that he have, which are so unexpected in a man like Flame. There was no apologies for Flame being Flame despite making sure that the reader understood how Flame became Flame. And I would also just like to say that I absolutely love AK and Viking. Those two men are true brothers to Flame in every since of the word. Souls Unfractured is an excellent addition to the Hades Hangmen series. The story takes you on a journey that is extremely hard to read at times, but also balances those turbulent times with ones of sheer happiness and bliss. I cannot wait to read the next book in this wonderful series. Bravo, Tillie Cole on a job extremely well done.
