*Disclaimer: I had to read this book for one of my college classes. I enjoyed the story and I loved the artwork. I felt that Elliot was the most complex character, and I loved how he was a little nerdy chicken. I loved how Violet, the main character stopped at nothing to rescue her father and get her family back together. I feel like this a complex, cute, and fun read for kids.
